I bought this to stop my ps4 from sounding like a jet engine, it worked a treat.

It should be as to be used on a pro, but I know that the pros have a soldering issue which causes the over heating and switching off.

Yes, I used this on my standard ps4, but not a pro.

Can i use this on a xbox series x controller?

I believe you can use this on all Xbox controllers including series X. It's only 4 quid. I bet you could find 4 quid down the back of the sofa!! I've repaired lots of Xbox controllers with this and it's great.
