Extra grit is just unsubstantiated hype
The extra grit does not provide extra spin as I had hoped, same spin as regular paddle in my opinion, but an excellent paddle otherwise. I'm keeping it but I would not buy another 6.0,,,,the extra grit also attracts more dirt.
