This bracket is made for standard 5/8" studs on either end so it can mount on a standard light stand. One of the provided studs is threaded 1/4-20 on one end and 3/8-16 on the other. The other provided stud has the clamp mounted on it with two cap screws that go through the clamp handle. The angle joint is made with squared splines which are very slip resistant. If you unscrew the joint screw 1 turn, then push in on the knob you can easily adjust the joint angle. The spring clamp also be mounted on a tripod or clamped to a shelf. I will be using this to mount flashes and to hold collapsible backgrounds on light stands. The parts appear to be well made. 2 of these for $23 is a ridiculous bargain.

I needed something to clip a magnifier onto my mini tripod for up close nature studies. This even works without the tripod. It is very sturdy. The clip opens an inch and is very strong. I can bump it and it holds firm.

I was impressed with how beefy these clamps are. They’re a great budget friendly alternative to the overpriced duckbill style clamps and can be used for a wider range of applications. Highly recommended.

Needs one more piece to be perfect. It needs the double screw 3/8 adapter to mount your flash to it. Other than that they work well. Just used them this past weekend.

Material and workmanship is not the best. I only use this occasionally but if used everyday or professionally I would not recommend.

You can angle them up to 90 degrees and lock them down, which lets you hold a reflector anywhere from fully horizontal to fully vertical
