Book didn't arrive, but customer service was GREAT!
Unfortunately, my product was one of the rare exceptions with the postal service that resulted in a failed delivery. When I contacted the seller, I received great support and never once felt like I would not be taken care of in a fair manner. Once the prescribed timeline for Amazon to consider the order to have had arrived elapsed, the seller was more than gracious to provide me with a refund for the book that had not arrived. Although I did end up having to buy the book at a local store for a higher price, the buyer was more than helpful in assisting me with the process of fixing the order in a timely manner. Thanks!

Alok Sinha, Linear Systems: Optimal and Robust Control
Bought this book for a graduate course. There are MANY errors/typos. These are simple errors that should have been caught but weren't. Wait for a version 2 to come out and make sure all the errors are corrected. The content is good if you catch the errors.

Unacceptable number of errors
This textbook is currently being used for a graduate-level systems and controls course at my university. It is clear that the author has made an attempt to present the topics in the most concise manner possible, which is to say that there is very little language surrounding the rigorous mathematical derivations. In short, it is a very slow and painful read (although I'm not sure I should use the word 'read' to describe how one makes it through the text. If this was not bad enough, it contains an unacceptable number of typos and errors -- almost one every third or fourth page, particularly in the examples. The concepts alone are difficult enough, but adding the fact that you cannot trust the author makes learning an impossible task.
