The best oatmeal you have ever had!!!
Excellent oatmeal! Instructions are in both English and Spanish. Simple to cook, you will need milk, and some sugar or Splenda.

Quaker Avena is a good cereal but priced too high overpriced!
Quaker Avena with Iron I have used before, it’s generally not found in USA, I first met up with it 2 years ago in Aruba when looking for a fine cereal, not lumpy and chunky like so many are. I had found some in the New Jersey Area but since moved. It is instant just add 1/4 cup at first to boiling hot water, stir, if you want more cereal add more and more hot water. I would highly recommend this cereal. One thing I want to point out to you is the price, I have never paid this high price for this cereal. Amazon if you want me or others to buy this cereal lower your price! People, go on line you will know what I am saying, I will not buy this again until you lower your price!

somewhat overpriced. but great taste
I liked the quick delivery but somewhat overpriced. When one is able to find in a store, this product was always cheaper. But I pay because it is the best oatmeal.

Not the same stuff sold in the US
This is the oatmeal my father's family regularly sent us from Puerto Rico when I was a child, and boy am I happy to have found a way to buy it myself all these years later. Even if you haven't taken any Spanish language classes you can probably pick out that "avena instantanea" is, in fact, "instant oatmeal," and Quaker is, of course, Quaker. The same brand you see every time you walk down the cereal aisle in your grocery store. Yet this oatmeal is substantively different from the oatmeal you can buy in Illinois. It's smoother somehow, creamier. I've purchased many varieties of American Quaker oatmeal and cooked it in the method that I learned as a girl, but it is not the same. It does not make a bowl of "Puerto Rican oatmeal," as my sister and I came to call it. This, however, does.If you grew up in the Caribbean and have tried to reproduce the oatmeal of your youth, here it is. If you have no idea what I'm talking about but you like oatmeal, give it a shot. I like to cook it with skim milk (and a splash of half and half, as the milk fat makes it creamier), then dump cinnamon and blueberries into it so I can feel all smug about my healthful breakfast. Delicious!

Rip Off
Incredibly small amount. Container is 6” tall x 3” wide. It boasts of added Iron yet seems to have identical nutrients as all other Quaker Oats. So if you are tempted to purchase this because you believe that there must be some reason it is over $13.00, there is, it’s a rip off, plain and simple. And I was the fool!

90% daily value of Iron with a hint of nostalgia.
I don't know if this was the same oatmeal I had in Peru as a child but I immediately recognized the distinct taste. I only needed to add one packet of Splenda and it came out perfect. I initially bought this because I'm anemic and I'm trying to find good source of Iron, well this is it! I usually make this at work and stick it in the microwave, pretty easy breakfast just make sure to keep an eye out for overflowing milk as it rises.
