ALMOST PERFECT - Harbor Freight 12k Lbs Apex Badlands
Just arrived and opened today. Will be installing soon. Arrived in two days. Good quality paint finish and the holes line up with the winch. All the parts and pieces seem to be intact and instructions look way too simple. I will be mounting an HF Apex Badlands 12k Nylon winch in the bumper of a 2023 Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon. Will post updates and fotos. Install wad almost flawless. The mounting holes for the win h didn't exactly line up for the rear holes and I had to sl8ghtly modify. Adding heavy duty stainless steel washers for the 4 bolts bit otherwise, worked perfect with 12klbs Apex Badlands Synth Winch, on 2023 Wrangler Rubicon.

Good fit
I purchased this for my 2025 Gladiator. The directions weren't the best, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Install was nice.

Solid, good price, easy!
Lowest price option I found to mount a winch in the rubicon steel bumper. I dont know why the other brands are so over engineered and 3 times the money. This one fits right in place and is plenty strong. The way it mounts behind the bumper/frame horn means its going to rip your frame in half before this mount or any bolts ever give. 100% recommend. Very sturdy and easy installation
Mounted easily with factory holes. Feels very solid after installing with 12k winch.

Great fit for my 2025 Gladiator!
Bolted right on with no modifications to my factory winch bumper, and made mounting my Rugcel Tank winch a breeze.

Great Value
Was less than half the price of the other winch mounting plates I found and was a very easy install. Allows for a low profile using the factory steel bumper, would certainly recommend to others.

Not great out of the box but a time saver for a fabricator
Not quite as good as I had hoped. But I’ll make it work with a little fab work. Clarifying I have an 09 jku with the newer rock hard bumper that was on later rubicon’s etc. The fitment isn’t good at the rear, too narrow and will probably never hold up to a hard pull. See pictures.
