Perfect replacement
The original lid for the carafe that came with the coffee maker had one side of the connection for the little rod break off - not sure how this even happened - making it no longer a secure lid when brewing or pouring. This carafe offered an option for the lid that provides a better and more complete brewing experience. More coffee is a plus. I'm so glad I purchased this!

Fits my black & decker coffee maker
I bought this carafe to replace one that I broke. It fit perfectly in my black & decker coffee maker. I used one of the enclosed nipples to make my coffee maker worked correctly.

Not as good as the original, but close enough
When my son broke the original while washing it, I despaired that I would have to buy a whole new coffee maker. I was very happy to see this receptacle sold here and ordered it immediately. It came with a selection of "tops" to accommodate the various B&D coffee makers, and I selected the one like the original... only one problem: after I have made the coffee, when I remove the filter to clean it and the casing below it, the casing spills coffee water everywhere in a way the original did not. I can't get it to stop no matter what I do. Other than this issue (which never happened before) it's great.
