A little messy to apply but works well...
I bought some Rock N Roll Gold approx one year ago. So after one year of using this stuff I think I can offer a resonable rating. For starters, it's messy to apply, especially if you follow their recommendations (allow to drip on chain at rollers). It basically gets all over your bike. I have to make sure my bike is completely wiped down afterward. It drys on my garage floor giving the appearance of a dry wax, rather than an oil. Get some of this stuff on a rim or brake pads and you be surprised when you reach for that front brake on your first downgrade. Before and after you apply make to wipe your chain with a rag COMPLETELY. I started to use Finish Line No Drip Chain Luber, works well for application. However it does not clean the chain, so a good wipe beforehand is paramount. My chain runs nice and smooth and quite. I can tell when it's time to apply new lube as the chain starts making noise. Of course, your ride conditions, weather, and type of riding will dictate how long before applications. For me about one week. I've only used one small bottle since I purchased this stuff. i read about Rock N Roll Gold last year in an article on chain lubes at VeloNews Magazine. They gave it high marks, I like it. Worth a shot.

Fast and clean
I almost gave up on mess-free chain lubricants but this works. Gold Lube goes on very thin so it does a good job of cleaning away the dirt and used-up remains of the previous lube. There's almost no exposed oil once it dries so it doesn't attract dirt. I'm not technical enough to feel subtle performance differences in lubrication but it has preserved my chain's life as well as the nasty sticky stuff. There's a small amount of solids build up (Teflon?) on the sprockets but it wipes away during a fresh application.

Still the best lube over so many years
Just went back to riding recently. Haven't been riding for years and my MTB drivetrain was starting to rust due to no maintaineance. I used finish line dry lube to try curb the rust but the lube turns black after 2 rides, and makes the chain looks black and dirty. Then I remembered this lube I used years back, and got some from Amazon.Wet the whole drive train, the dirt coming out from the chain is actually yellowish in color, which I suspect it is the rust coming off the drivetrain. After 2 applications , my chain now looks much cleaner & runs really smooth. Am into my 3rd ride now and have yet to relube as the chain still feels smooth and cleans. Will continue to monitor. Overall a very satisfied customer

amazing
This product is amazing. I've used it going on two years and no (that is NO) chain stretch that I can measure. AMAZING. I was replacing my chain every year with the other high tech and more expensive lubes. Rock n roll works better, makes my drive train work smoother and quieter and again, is amazing.

Excellent Chain Lube
Cleaner, quieter, smoother shifting and 2 mph faster. Averaging a relube every 100 miles, I estimate that the 16 oz. bottle should last me 4,000 miles. The only thing that would make this excellent chain lube better, is, if it helps reduce chain "stretch". I'll amend this review at the 2,000 mile mark.

hands down best lube
I've tried several different lubes including Squirt, Prolink, and Finish Line and and Rock n Roll lube is heads above the rest. For starters it has a different consistency than other lubes. It's watery instead of oily and it seems to attract less gunk. It appears that my chain stays cleaner longer and then when I do clean my chain it's easier to clean than usual. The gunk mostly wipes off. In fact, often instead of a full degreasing and cleaning I'll drizzle some Rock n Roll on a rag and run my chain through it. Doing so cleans and lubes my chain. It's fast and easy. I've also noticed a slight speed increase since switching to this lube and shifting is smoother and more consistent. Overall Rock n RolI is fantastic and I'm sold on it for life.
