As a lifelong builder and sports fan, this one immediately caught my attention. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup right around the corner, a display piece like this feels especially timely. The metallic gold-colored pieces are absolutely gorgeous. In fact, this may be one of the best-looking gold finishes I have seen on any brick-built model. Under normal room lighting it almost looks metallic, and the curved panels do an excellent job capturing the shape and contours of the real trophy. From across the room, people instantly recognize what it represents. The build itself was enjoyable and relaxing. The instructions were easy to follow, the parts were well organized, and the assembly process moved along at a comfortable pace. Such a fun build! There were very few re-do’s….everything just came together with no frustration, no missing parts, and just again, an overall fun build that looks amazing! This is not just another display model. It celebrates one of the world's biggest sporting events while also providing a fun project for soccer fans, collectors, and builders alike. This has such a nice presence lack looks remarkable on display. A nice touch is the dedicated plaque area on the base. I created my own custom "FIFA World Cup 2026" label using my Brother label maker, and it made the finished presentation look even more polished and personalized. At roughly $40 (and closer to $38 with the coupon available at the time of my order), I think the price is fair. The unique subject matter, large display size, and outstanding gold finish help justify the cost. If you're a serious soccer fan, this is one of those models that will likely stay on display long after the final match has been played. I ordered the world cup gold shoe trophy brick building kit. Love the look of gold bricks! These kits have come a long way since the boys were young. Heck even since the grandkids were little! My 14 yr old great grandson is coming to visit and if likes this it's his to build. If he's not still into soccer I will add it to the Toys for tots 2026 donation stash I know someone will love this super cool brick building set. I will add more photos if he does complete it. I recommend this for older kids to adults. This is a super looking, unique set of building bricks. The only downside is the price, even for it being off brand, it seems a bit high.

I love discovering cool non-Lego brick sets, both because of reduced costs and also because I’ve found some really creative, fun, and interesting brick sets that are different from what Lego produces. In the real soccer / association football world, there are a number of different Golden Boot awards that are given to the top goal scorer in Europe, in the Premiere League, in the World Cup, etc. I enjoy the look of this set, and I especially like that the tongue of the shoe can articulate, which provides more variety to its appearance and makes the design as a whole more dynamic. I also like the little gray section in the base of the award, which is meant to represent a little plaque that would be engraved in a real Golden Boot award. It would be fun to see someone use a custom sticker or something similar to customize this brick trophy such that it is personalized for a recipient.
