Pokemon Trading Card Game Pack Assorted Designs

So there is no misconception - this isn't a pack of 50 rare Pokemon cards. You aren't going to get a whole bunch of one-of-a-kind cards here.That said, it's a good offering. My son, who is very much into Pokemon, said his pack had quite a few cards he didn't have or had been wanting for some time. How much of that is due to the selection itself vs the law of averages concerning 50 cards is an open question, but the pack I got didn't have a bunch of useless cards...so there's that.I have to say at this price point, at this quantity, this offering sure beat going to the local Target store or whatever and buying a bunch of Pokemon packs. This was a very good way to supplement my son's collection, and would be very good for building a deck from scratch. A good product.

Worst Pokémon purchase yet. My son was so upset. We only got 1 card over a 100..He was really sad. So I bought him some from the store for 8 bucks and he got at least 10 card over 100 and a pair 180 pt card. I am really disappointed. The cards did not come in a box but a plastic bag, you could tell that the cards had been sorted through and all of the good ones have been taken out. A real bummer for a little boy that thinks he's getting something special.

There were few duplicate cards in our deck as well. It was not as bad as written by others but we got 3 duplicates of 2 cards and 2 duplicates of another 2-3 cards. Given that it was pack of 50 this was too much in my opinion !! I don't mind it because I gave the duplicates to my 2 year old so that he could leave my 6 year alone with his cards ! But the vendor should either remove "no duplicates" from their product description or start sending all 50 different cards .

I personally love this series of cards. In the Team Rocket series, collectors and players are given the power of "dark" Pokémon, which were introduced here. Almost every pack had at least one Dark Pokémon and, as in all the original Gen. 1 series, there is a guaranteed rare card with a 1:33 chance of that card being a holo-foil. Dark Pokémon are evolved Pokémon who have devastating moves but typically low HP. If you're a player who likes this style of card battles these old-school packs are a perfect fit. Do note that these are unlimited edition packs. At least that's what I received.

It's ok. I didn't know what to buy for my kid when he asked for Pokemon, so I got this. 50 cards for $9. By the time this one arrived I have had time to research and visit the local card shops. I have since learned a lot more and gotten way more value from CL, but I did get 50 cards with this order. No energy, so not enough to play a game, but I didn't want energy. If I did, I would have purchased 60 cards for $10 in a theme deck. So for getting all Pokemon and trainers for $9 - yeah, it was what I expected.All 50 of mine were from XY Phantom Forces, so they aren't newer cards... but I had 5 cards over 100 HP. The highest was 140. No foil. I wouldn't say this is the biggest bargain on the Interwebs, but it was exactly what I was expecting for my money. If your kid wants a bunch of stuff to take to school and trade - this is your item. If he wants to play a game with his friends who have decks - I would suggest a theme deck.

I ordered this hoping for a few good dark cards to add to my collection. I was not disappointed, as I received a dark Charizard card in the pack, which is very rare. I was, however, quite unhappy to find that all of the cards were printed in French, a feature not advertised in the description. Needless to say, I cannot read or ever use these cards in gameplay.

These cards are real, just to get that out of the way. I got a few duplicates but I don't mind that, I wanted them actually. All commons and uncommons. I bought these just to get back into collecting but if you want really good cards, I'd say go get booster packs, boxes and tins.

The packs came in fantastic shape. While I think the prices of these cards are a tad bit steep, it is to be expected from aa booster pack that came out more than ten years ago.
