This product is extremely user friendly. It works wonderfully as well. My husband has used it to fix 2 items in our home within a weeks time. Definitely worth the price for easy fixes around the home especially for beginners!

It's a bit flimsy, but it definitely does the job, the holder for keeping it propped up, from burning where you set it, it's a bit wobbly.

I accidentally cut the power cord and had to splice it back together. Much to my surprise and horror, the wires could not be any larger than 24 gauge, maybe smaller if that is possible! I mean these are the tiniest wires I have ever seen in a power conducting environment. I cannot imagine them lasting very long with any kind of load! Buyer beware!

I tried using it for a project. It seemed TOO hot but I didn't think too much of it. I tried using the flux and I don't know if I just couldn't get the hang of solid flux or if it really was just junk. Midway through my project it sparked a couple of times, a puff of smoke went up and it died. Sooooo it definitely wasn't worth even the $10.

I’m happy that I didn’t spend a lot of money on it. I can do everything I need to do and I am getting better at using it.

Needed to do some soldering on electrical components. Didn't want to spend a fortune and this had good reviews. Arrived when promised and as described. Work perfectly, would buy again and recommend.
