I'm thoroughly impressed with the Thermal Master P3 thermal camera. For its very reasonable price, it delivers exceptional high-resolution thermal imaging with crisp clarity and reliable, accurate temperature readings, including helpful point-by-point measurements that remove much of the guesswork from color interpretation alone. Setup is truly plug-and-play across both Android and iOS phones, thanks to USB-C compatibility and the included Lightning adapter. It draws power directly from your device, so there are no batteries to charge or replace, which promises excellent longevity even as you upgrade phones. The whole unit is compact enough to slip into a pants pocket, complete with a neat protective case. The manual focus is a standout feature: smooth, firm, and SLR-like in feel, giving you precise control for razor-sharp macro shots of circuit boards, small electronics, or close-up details. It does take a moment to get used to and feels slightly less intuitive at longer focus distances, but the tradeoff is well worth it for the accuracy it provides. The companion app is intuitive and packed with useful options, multiple color palettes, brightness/contrast adjustments, mirror/rotation views, and easy image or video capture, while the camera boots up in seconds and feels solidly built. I've used it to great effect around the house: spotting missing insulation behind drywalls and in attic, drafts around doors and windows, HVAC leaks, plumbing issues, electrical hotspots, and even locating studs or pipes behind drywall. It's also fantastic for PCB diagnostics and general home maintenance. The temperature reading is almost accurate, just a +/- .05 to 1 degree F off. A couple of small wishes, the app doesn't yet allow retroactive temperature measurements on videos, and the overlay is a picture-in-picture corner view rather than full-screen overlay, but these are minor in light of how well everything else works. Overall, this is a well-made, versatile tool that punches well above its price point. I happily recommend it to any homeowner or DIYer looking for a dependable super compact thermal camera!

Great product , very pleased with this excellent product! I can now easily find my radiant in floor heating tubing . I easily and accurately shows temperature high, normal and cold spots . It’s refreshing to buy a product that works better than expected. Also the zoom lens to view small electronics is a nice if a needed function. I highly recommend this product. Well done praise for engineering and developer’s!

This camera in my opinion is better than the flir pro as I have both

I do PCB repairs and let me tell you this camera is FREAKING AWESOME!!! It paid for itself in the first week of me having it. The app is slightly cumbersome but the overall quality of the camera is incredible. High recommend!

This thing is awesome! Used it to see the heated floors in my van. The manual focus takes some getting used to but it allows you to switch between far away and insanely close up! I pointed it at the hairs on my hand and could see temperature differences in a single hair follicle. My only feedback is the temperature is a little off. Obviously I would not expect it to read body temperature at 80 degrees Fahrenheit but it does so you just need to do some mental math. It would be nice if the app had a way to calibrate to a known temperature.
