Well made, quality materials, and thought design considerations at a great price.
I got this Anti Static Wrist Strap because I was growing weary of relying on self grounding when working on sensitive electronic circuit boards. This anti static wrist strap should give me peace of mind when rushing to effect repairs. Here's what I found when checking this out: 1. The package includes an adjustable/elastic wrist strap, a flexible/stretchable PU cord with a dual connector (banana plug and alligator clip), and instructions for testing and using the strap. 2. The actual wrist portion of the strap is adjustable and elastic. The elastic provides a good amount of stretch so that once adjusted for proper fit, you can easily get the strap over your hand. Being made of a cloth like material, the strap was comfortable to wear even when properly tightened around the wrist. 3. The PU cord has a coiled design like the old fashioned phone cords used when we still had land-lines. The cord stretches to 8.2 feet. I didn't test/measure that, but it has plenty of stretch and snaps back to full coil when relaxed. I like this because it keeps the cord tight and out of the way, and provides notice of tension instead of a sudden catching that pulls the clip off the grounding source. 4. I don't have a wrist strap tester (although I probably should), so I appreciated the provided testing instructions using a multimeter. Mine tested within the .8 to 1.2 MOhm resistance specified giving me peace of mind that the strap was ready and able to perform as intended. 5. The portion of the PU cord that snaps to the wrist strap easily swivels once connected so you can position the cord in a way that won't interfere with your work. The dual connector provides for flexible grounding options. Plug the banana plug into the grounding socket of a 3-prong electrical outlet, or attach the alligator clip to the banana plug and then clip it to a non-painted metal surface. I was initially concerned about the banana plug to alligator clip connection, but the connection was firm with enough tension/friction to prevent it from separating easily with mild tension on the PU cord. All-in-all, I found the anti static strap to be well made with good quality materials and thoughtful design considerations. For peace of mind while working with sensitive electronics at a very reasonable price ($3.99 as of this writing), I highly recommend it.

Simple but Important Tool for Working on Electronics
I picked this up while working on some PC builds and small electronics projects, and it is one of those things you do not think about until you realize how important it is. I have been using it when handling boards, components, and even some of my embedded projects, and it gives that extra peace of mind knowing I am not accidentally damaging anything with static. It is quick to put on, clip to a grounded surface, and then you can just focus on the work without worrying about it. The build and design are solid. The strap is comfortable and adjustable, so it fits snug without being annoying to wear for longer sessions. The cord is longer than expected, which actually helps a lot when moving around a workspace without feeling restricted. The alligator clip grips well, and the connection feels secure. I also like that it uses the proper resistor for safety, so it is doing what it is supposed to without any guesswork. It feels durable enough for repeated use, and the rotating connector is a nice touch so the cable does not twist up while you are working. For the price, it is an easy recommendation if you do any kind of PC building, electronics repair, or hobby work. I would especially suggest it for anyone working with sensitive components like motherboards or microcontrollers. It is a simple tool, but it helps prevent problems you really do not want to deal with later, and it is worth having in your kit.

Cheap insurance against ESD damage
This review is for one FRXIE Anti Static wrist strap for ESD protection. If you do a lot of work around static sensitive electronic parts, you are probably already familiar with wrist straps like this one. If not, I will explain why they are necessary. I think everyone has experienced the shock you sometimes receive after walking across a carpeted floor and touch a metal door knob or something similar, especially in the Winter when the air is very dry. What you experienced was the sudden discharge of a static charge that was built up on your body as a result of your feet making and breaking contact with the materials in the carpet. Now, if you were to make a discharge like that by touching a piece of static sensitive electronic equipment, a high density memory board for instance, total destruction of the components on the board could result. To prevent that from happening a wrist band like this can be worn which is attached to an electrically grounded connection. When working around electronic equipment most of us have been taught to keep away from grounded surfaces to avoid being shocked or electrocuted if we happen to touch a live wire with the un-grounded hand. This wrist strap protects from such a situation by incorporating a high resistance in series with the ground connection wire. This resistance is 1 Meg ohm or greater. This is sufficient to safely discharge any static that may accumulate on our body while not directly grounding us. The cuff that goes around your wrist is fastened with velcro so that it will fit all wrist sizes. The material used for the wrist strap and the ground wire are made from substantial material so it should last for a long time. The use of this wrist strap provides low cost insurance against ESD damage. One size fits all.

Anti-static strap review
Super easy to use the plastic part kind of digs into your arm a bit and the locking mechanism could be better. Overall, pretty nice for $3
