Family Heritage Stoneware Rectangular Baker, 1430

My favorite go to for baking chicken! Comes out so moist and tender. Quality is outstanding. Size is perfect for roasting the chicken. Great value for the money.

This happened the first time I used the rectangular baker. I’ve used Pampered Chef for years and understand how NOT to use it, but this should not have broken like it did the first time. I ordered via Amazon but did not use it within the first 30 days, and because it was provided by a third party I don’t think I can get the item exchanged. Terrible!!!

The item from The Pampered Chef in Addison, IL was great until today Thursday, 5/1/2025 when it broke for no apparent reason. This item cost me $222.60 when I purchased it on 12/14/2024. I followed all of the care directions. Didn't use soap, no frozen foods and handled it with care.

A friend of ours had this exact pan (was purchased probably over 15 yrs ago) that we were using and it suddenly burst while in our oven. Not sure why as these are heavy duty but we wanted to replace it. Thankfully we found it on Amazon as she had purchased this during a Pampered Chef party and we didn't know where to look. These are pricey and heavy but are so versatile in regards to what you can use them for that it was worth the cost. Would not hesitate to purchase more to have a couple on hand for bigger occasions.

These stones are great, keep in mind you don't use soap, only clean with water, and you have to cool them off before you clean it. The baking pan does not like cold/hot, let it be completely cooled off, before you clean it BUT NO SOAP! and the more you use it, the darker it gets but that is because its getting seasoned, food taste so good in this pan. I have used it for like 20 years, but again you have to be careful with it, if you don't handle it correctly, it will break, i have seen it happen

Pampered Chef Family Heritage Stoneware Rectangular Baker #1430 - Handy Dandy Chef This Pampered Chef Stoneware Baker is an item I never received! I emailed Amazon Marketplace.com three different times indicating my dilemma and received no response. I tried to find a telephone number or even an address for Handy Dandy Chef, the third party seller, and was never able to find either. No tracking information was available, per Amazon. Finally, I contacted my credit card company, alerting them to the amount charged to my account and the fact that, with no tracking information, I was stymied. The credit card representative put in well: "Mrs. Bair, it seems you have been taken for a ride." !!! I will not be using Amazon Marketplace again and have told as many people as possible my unfortunate story., hoping this does not happen to very many more unsuspecting customers.

I've used PameredChef for years. They are excellent products. A little expensive, but well worth it. This item bakes evenly with easy cleanup.
