I wanted a pair of binoculars for my trip to Colorado recently, specifically during hiking for seeing wildlife. It was a spontaneous plan and I ordered it a few days before. It arrived on time, though I didn't get time for testing it before. While on the trip, I finally used it and it was truly amazing. I am so amazed by the quality of the binoculars. Plus it comes with a very good quality case, strap for ease in travelling and lens cleansing cloth. The image formed is crisp and clear. The strap makes it easy to avoid chances of it falling off. (this is important for me as I have buttery hands). Overall, if you are looking for a good binocular in a price range or as a gift, this it it!!

This is my second SkyGenius binocular and I have to say I love their products! The only catch would be that it doesn't have a place to rest your eyes on like the bigger 10x30 Version. Therefore, that took a star off but it is super easy to use and images are crisp clear. I also tried it at night, although it doesn't have night vision, but in the city it is good enough to just watch city birds. In addition, the binoculars are not big nor heavy and can but put into the front pocket of my Tumi Voyageur backpack. This is a good pair of binoculars for the price.

Bad focus wheel is all metal tiny nubs cannot focus because your finger slips on it. I think it should've been rubberized. Too bad because it's a nice size and weight.

had this for "free" (credit card points). Returned. Picture quality was not bad, but focus adjustment took long time to set. Diopter adjust had to be set for every distance, my other binos don't do this. Also....field of view is not as wide as they say. It is similar to my old narrow 8x25 binos, which is 330ft at 1000 yards. Good FOV is close to 400ft now, or sometimes more (430ft for 8x magnification). So, if you use binoculars once or twice per year - this is good buy. But if you hunt or do frequent bird watching - better buy something for over $100.

I bought these for kids to borrow at our nature center. Are they high quality optics? Of course not! They focus wheel is loose, images are a little blurry around the edges, & they aren't great in low light. But for the price, they function like "real" binocs - make distant images larger, can be focused, and are generally useful for kids' wildlife viewing (think - flock of wild turkeys, not an obscure fall warbler ID) I'd even consider keeping one in my car as my "emergency binocs." Exactly what i needed for the price, and honestly better than i was expecting.

There is a big chunk of plastic inside of lens.

I bought these because we have a nesting pair of Red Tailed Hawks along our morning walk route and our big binoculars are just too heavy and clumsy. THESE HIT THE SPOT. Very crisp, clear image and I can count his feathers from 150 meters. I highly recommend these for bird watching or just to have a very good quality binocular in a small-- but not too small-- package. Added bonus: a quick shipment meant we had them in just a few days. That's always appreciated.

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter because they were inexpensive. I figured they would be so-so quality because of the low price. After checking them out, I was surprized they were actually good quality binoculars. The adjustable eyecups (they rotate in or out about an inch) are a nice feature. I thought the right focus adjustment was not working at first, but I was turning the adjustable eyecup, not the right focus adjustment wheel. After I figured it out, both tubes were in perfect focus. All in all, a nice compact set of binoculars. Daughter loves them.
