Overview The UFO2 by Fotopro seems to be a really sturdy tripod with a robust design that can hold anything ranging from a phone to a DSLR. I bought this tripod as I needed a flexible mount for my GoPro timelapses and it seems to do an excellent job at it. Packaging & Contents The item came in a white cardboard box (no branding on it so you can just throw it away) with all the items packed individually in plastic bags. You get the tripod, manual, phone holder, GoPro mount and a Bluetooth remote for your phone. In Action The tripod’s legs have 2 steps (they don't have a lock) so you either have them wide spread or close together. They are flexible enough to bend around any sort of pipe, tubing or weird shaped object and the quality of the rubber is good enough to give you a perfect grip. The mount has a 1/4" thread and the round plastic base is detachable, giving you a longer screw to fit in another ballhead on it or any other mount. The phone mount extends enough to fit any wider phones, and it does have 2 screw mounts (one on the bottom and one on the side) so you can attach your phone in various positions. The Bluetooth battery runs on a CR2032 cell and should last you for ages. The pairing is quite fast and the phone should detect it automatically after it's been switched on. There is a 1 second delay between pressing the button and the actual photo trigger, and I've also found that you have to hold the button for 1 second for it to send the "photo trigger signal". Things to improve I would like to see an actual leg lock in the future on this tripod. Those 3 red triangle shapes are just for design, but they could transform them into actual buttons to lock the position of the legs. Conclusion This tripod will probably serve me well for the next couple of years on various shoots. Overall I'm pretty impressed by the quality of the manufacturing and the design, so I think that £20 is a decent price to pay for something like this.

Fotopro Bluetooth Selfie Stick with tripod, bluetooth remote shutter for iPhone, Samsung and other smartphones, camera, gopro . I was looking at the 3 legged one they sell which was £21.99 yesterday and now it's £18.99. Had it of been £18.99 yesterday I might have chosen it over this one but I would say I made the right choice going with this as it is the same height as the 3 legged tripod when screwed onto the stand and to my surprise holds my camcorder without toppling over. There's an adapter for your phone as well but I had an issue with my phone because the holder presses my power button in (HTC 10).. I may have to stick a couple of cm's of card in the top part and leave a gap so it doesn't press it in but i'm still happy with my purchase. I was a bit dubious of the the telescopic rod at 1st thinking it might start to slide back down again once I'd put my camcorder on it but the way it's designed (You twist it and it locks it so it doesn't slide back down) means it's sturdy and isn't going to start sliding down over time. The head of the stand also has a ball in it so you can tilt and turn the camera/phone. There's also a bluetooth button included which is easy to use, just switch the tiny switch on the side on, push the button & it should begin slowly flashing... Turn bluetooth on your phone on (if it isn't) and go into the bluetooth settings & select scan & it will show up as BT-4.. Once paired, open your camera app and push the bluetooth button so that the little green light on it flashes and it should take a photo. On mine it also works for activating the video capture and stopping it providing you have your camera app already on that setting. I tested it from the other side of the room and it worked fine.

Great tripod for your phone, camera or anything else you can clamp with the phone holder or screw onto the camera mount thread like baby video monitors, webcams etc. Came really well packaged and the carry bag is a bonus. The whole unit seems very sturdy and well made and the flexible legs are reassuringly stiff. The clamp is solid and the Bluetooth remote shutter is very handy. It immediately connected with my phone and worked perfectly. Design wise it looks great and appears very smart. The red diamonds on the legs look like they should do something like allow them to open up wider but are purely visual. Overall a great product priced in the pro range - I’m sure you can find cheaper tripods but this one seems built to last and the remote shutter is great. This unit was sent to me so I can give an honest review which is absolutely what this is.

Used this twice now, once outdoors once indoors and the build quality is really solid, the flexibility and rigidness of it is really worth the extra £5-£7 instead of the cheaper versions, exactly the reason I sought out this one. I opted for this one over the “anozer” and “goofoto” brands and that’s served me pretty well so far. The mount can swivel when your phone’s secured within it and the body is pretty easily adjustable with a little force, before it arrived I was also concerned about the width of the holder and if it could fit my iPhone 12 Pro Max (with a pretty thick case) inside it, but it could with no issue, so you can pretty much fit any phone into it I think, do yourself a favour and spend the extra £5-£7 on one of these ones and not the foam style or ball ones, and btw this is a real review if you were wondering about the legitimacy of my words lmao, these are a decent bit of kit for capturing iPhone footage, haven’t tried a camera in it yet, put it next to a size 4 pair of shoes for size relativity in the photo, hope you enjoy yours if you get one, regardless of the brand.

This tripod is a perfect size for what I needed. I do a lot of crafting and use it to hold my phone while watching tutorials on YouTube. It is more convenient to use the phone instead of carrying a tablet or laptop when traveling.

Nachdem ich zwar schon ein festes Stativ in groß und klein (für die Hand besitze), fehlte mir noch ein Tripod, der sich auch überall befestigen lässt. Das Fotopro-Stativ erwies sich in dessen einwöchiger Testphase als perfekter Begleiter für Filme und Fotos. Mitgenommen habe ich das Stativ auf eine Kreuzfahrt, wo es mir ein besonderes Anliegen war, Zeitraffer von Ein-/Auslaufen zu drehen, wofür ich das handliche Teil an der Balkonbrüstung befestigte. Dort hielt es sehr sicher, auch trotz Fahrtwind war in den Videos später kein Verwackler zu sehen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die eingebaute Wasserwaage, denn so waren die Videos auch immer schön gerade. Auch die Bluettoth Funktion mit der Fernbedienung habe ich getestet; funktioniert kinderleicht und absolut reibungslos. Der flexible Drehkopf ist sehr praktisch, da so auch der Filmwinkel nach dem Befestigen noch angepasst werden konnte. Weiterhin dabei ist ein Aufsatz für's Handy, mein Iphone 6s hat auch mit dicker umlaufender Hülle leicht Platz gefunden. Transportieren lässt sich alles in der mitgesendeten Tasche, hier wurde an alles gedacht. Fazit: Top-Produkt zu einem absolut fairen Preis! Für jemanden, der hobbymäßig Urlaubsfilme und Vlogs dreht perfekt, da es so schön handlich und auch nicht zu schwer ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
