Excellent product
An amazing headset, the best I have ever owned (and I have owned an awful lot!). Sound quality is great, expecially the background noise cancelling in a busy house and switches seamlessly between my mobile device, MSTeams, Skype and Zoom. Relatively expensive, but amazing value.

Great product
Not great at switching from laptop to mobile - but that could be user error

Game changer
Working 39h from home for tech support. I can go all around the house and make myself a cuppa while on the phone. Major issue though is a loud buzzing sound especially when answering the first call. Couple of updates since I have it didn’t fix this. Apart from that it’s comfy enough and has plenty of battery for the whole day (I could work overtime or double shift actually) ***UPDATE*** I contacted Jabra about that buzzing sound, they were very helpful and quick to replace the headset

Very disappointing new headset from Jabra
I have been a user of Jabra Pro top of the range headsets for several years now (model 9470) in my home office for mobile/landline/Webex/Zoom conference calls). They have always performed very well, but it was time to take a look at new models. My father is now becoming a little deaf and he is finding it difficult to hear my voice. I was not able to adjust the volume of the call when using my mobile via Bluetooth, so I wanted to find a better headset that would improve the situation. I bought 2 Jabra Engage 75 stereo headsets from Amazon Warehouse and both were faulty. One had a faulty microphone that made my voice sound very quiet and gravelly, the other had slightly distorted 'ringing' sound to the audio produced by the earpieces. I also found that the call would drop out occasionally and the other party couldn't hear my voice for a few seconds before it came back. I was very near to the base station (maybe 5 metres or so). I contacted Jabra tech support who told me to try a factory reset on the devices, which did not improve the problems. The Good - Nice headset design. Quite light and comfortable and more sturdy than previous models. - Improved controls over the difficult to operate touch-sensitive volume control of the older model. The physical mute button on the mic is a good idea. - New Jabra Direct software for controlling settings on the unit is much better than the old 'Jabra Suite' software. The Bad - Quality control issue, obviously, as two units had different faults. - ABYSMAL user interface menu design on the base station. The design has an odd +/- symbol on the menu to move the selections left and right until the desired option is displayed in the middle, then you have to press a tick symbol to select that option. The menu system only allows scrolling down - there doesn't seem to be an 'up' option. The previous model equipped with a touch screen was MUCH more intuitive. - There is still no option to increase mic volume on mobile calls connected via Bluetooth. There is only an option to increase mic volume on landline connected calls. Not sure why this is. My father could hardly hear me and reported that even the new headset without the faulty mic was less audible than my previous Jabra Pro models. - HORRIBLE docking connector. The dock uses a micro-USB connector for power and I found that it was difficult to locate it back in it's cradle without fiddling around for a while. The previous model had a proprietary connector with gold pins and a magnet to hold the headset in place and although it would occasionally fall off it was easier to locate the correct position than the new version. Summary and Recommendations Ultimately, I felt disappointed by the new Jabra Engage headsets. Even with the re-design, I felt that the base station was a bit 'plasticky' and lower quality than previous models. The awful menu navigation is terrible, and such bad UI (User Interface) design is unforgivable in this day and age. Luckily, I found out that Sennheiser has just released a new range of premium headsets and bought one of those instead. I went for the top of the range SDW 5066. This headset is of incredible quality and really looks and feels worth the money. The cradle works really well, controls are excellent and the device has a rotary mic volume control on the bottom of the base unit! This is exactly what I need, and surely it would make sense for every headset manufacturer to do this? I cannot understand why Jabra has not. I tested the unit out on my father and gradually increased the mic volume control on the rotary know from the default of 4 up to 5 and he can hear me perfectly! (The dial goes up to 9, so plenty of range to go if his hearing worsens). The controls and indicator lights on the base station such as mute are really nice to use. Overall, I am really pleased with the Sennheiser. It's the Roll's Royce of the headset world The sound quality is excellent and I don't think it could be bettered in any way.

Great product
I don't usually write reviews but this product was so good, that I just had to put something here. I originally purchased a Plantronics headset that blue screened my laptop twice when it was plugged in so I returned that and purchased this instead. Wow. What a pleasant experience. It just "worked", setup was easy, it's nice and light with no issues at all. It integrates perfectly into Skype for Business even giving the persons name calling on its display. I have it connected to the laptop and mobile (I'm not using with an "actual" phone). The software is highly configurable. If only all technology products could be this good.

Very accomplished and uncomfortable in equal measures
I’ve used this every weekday for 6 months, for between 2 and 7 hours a day usually for internal and client meetings. First, the good bits. The build quality is excellent - looks and feels virtually brand new after extensive use. The sound quality is generally good, and the microphone’s noise cancellation is very effective (filtering out dog and toddler noises to the point that those on meetings can’t really even hear it). The connectivity is good, allowing me to roam the house freely, and it’s easy to get connected to work laptop (there is a program you can install for extra settings, but works fine without this if you have installation restrictions on IT profile). Now to the bad bits - and unfortunately, they are significant. The headset is somehow both loose enough that even small movements cause it to shift on your head, yet tight enough that the ear pad after a few hours is so painful that it’s almost unwearable. For anyone using this on and off for half an hour to an hour at a time throughout the day, that would be fine, but for any more than that it is basically not usable. Despite the high cost and it still being in excellent condition, I have chosen to order a replacement that should be more comfortable - a Logitech G Pro over the ear headset, designed for gaming so should be comfortable for extended periods.

High end headset and base unit. Crystal clear audio both in and out.
This is genuinely a professional piece of kit and as such it is slightly wasted on me however it really is nice to be able to use a very luxurious and top-quality piece of equipment for even my menial tasks. I ordered this to use for recording videos and for online meetings. It has the capacity to be plugged into the local telephone system however I only used this directly with my PC by using the included USB cable. The headset and base unit connected automatically and I didn't have to do much. I did have to play with my PCs microphone settings a little, but that isn't entirely unusual with such things. The whole thing oozes quality. The ear cups on the headset are especially nice. They are on-ear headphones and have been made so soft that at one point I actually forgot I was wearing them. The robust headband is fully adjustable and the headset slots into the base where it marry's up with a USB-C charging plug. My PC recognised the headset as speakers (headphones) and a microphone. I tested it with both Zoom and Teams and it works flawlessly although I did have to make a few tweaks to the settings first. This is no fault of the headset but rather simply something that has to be done when something is made to be compatible across numerous platforms and versions of software. I couldn't get What's app desktop to work with this but I think that is more to do with What's app than the headset. The sound through the headphones is great and, according to my test subject, the microphone produces crystal clear audio. I shall be using this to make short videos for work. It will be a marked improvement on the budget lavalier mic I have used until now.

Quality headset for whole day
Sits steadily next to PC, and work faultlessly for 2 weeks of net meeting. Did not a have drop call or disconnections, stable and good range connections - easily stroll through the house or office. The sound is clear and sharp on both in and out. Charging dock also handy, supports fast charge with 13 working hours- slightly low in comparison. Nice and soft padding, can easily have it on for the day, Quite pricey at under £236.
