Very well made but lightweight jacket that is an excellent wind/rain/sun blocker
This turned out to be perfect for a recent trip and Safari excursions to South Africa and Zimbabwe. This is lightweight but very well made. Zippers work very well. It clocks the wind and rain. Keeps one warm in the cold early morning or night conditions in early African spring. Yet it compresses and does not take up much space in a suitcase. One of the best jackets/windbreakers I have ever owned. I really like it. The color (a lighter-medium blue) looked great too. Highest possible recommendation.

it is a light rain coat
light weight rain coat but the pockets are mesh which makes them of limited use as anything with a spike like key rings or hair comb will snag and pull on the mesh making a hole. the coat feels like plastic not nylon or some such but it will do as emergency rain coat in the car
