Untether: Alchemy, Book 4 (Audio Download): Elodie Hart, Kylie Stewart, Will M. Watt, Podium Audio: desertcart.co.uk: Audible Books & Originals Review: A must read for all women…. - It took me a while before I started reading this amazing series as I felt it would be too raunchy for me and I was right - it was! However, it was too addictive to stop! I absolutely loved the first book and they kept on getting better and this one is proof of that, it really is the best of the series. We’ve all been waiting for Cal’s story and all I can say is it most definitely doesn’t disappoint! He is sextacular, charismatic and so much fun. Aida Russel’s fifteen year marriage has ended in divorce, following her husband’s infidelity being splashed over the news papers. Rather than hide from the world she decides to embrace her new found freedom and find out what she’s been missing in the bedroom during her marriage, as it was greatly lacking in o’s! As a celebrity she decides to make a documentary about it and uses the professional expertise of Alchemy’s Unfurl programme and in doing so help other women of a similar age/circumstance to take learning on what’s available to them rather than shrinking their lives they can grow them in so many ways, should they choose to. Cal is her mentor and boy does he show her how her husband’s infidelity has done her a massive favour. As with all of Elodie’s books it also broaches important topics which are experienced by many but not often openly discussed (e.g. the hidden delights of peri menopause). I am over the moon this series will continue and look forward to the next book. Review: Enjoyable and filthy - I enjoyed seeing Cals story unfurl and alongside Aidas story and how they linked up. However I found the ending missing a lot of the excitement that the previous stories held for their characters. Overall the story had me hooked and the spice was spicing.

Magnificent
This book is beautiful, sensitively written, affirming, validating, and an absolute joy to read. Thank you so much for this, Elodie. You've given us middle-aged women a truly priceless gift and I, for one, treasure it.

Not my favourite
I was so looking forward to this book but have been left a bit disappointed. The storyline and writing overall was good but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I felt the main characters lacked chemistry and the s** scenes were just brutal as opposed to filthy. I’m all for a bit of kink but it lacked variety. I also found the parts in interview mode more difficult to read and a bit clunky. It’s not a bad story, I just didn’t connect with it in the same way as I did the previous 3.

A new Elodie Hart is always a guarantee of time about to be well spent!
Cal and Aida - reverse age gap/step children - with lots of glamour and plenty of heat. One of my favourites in the Alchemy series - because there is no way not to love Cal, his sense of fun, and his open hearted approach to life. Aida is a truly fitting foil for him - serious, razor-sharp, and looking recover from a cheating husband and years of boring sex ... Scene is set - enjoy. Have read the whole series twice and they are all keepers.

Paradise found
This is the fourth book in the series and I’m having some issues with the timeline and ages given, it just doesn’t seem to be correct or it’s always changing. Really odd, that said the story was good. I could defo get on Aida’s plan and reclaiming bits of herself, I do feel like the story needed a bit more depth though. I still don’t really know much about Cal and to be honest the same could be said for the other stories, with the exception of the religious stuff in Rafe’s book and despair and grief in Zach’s it’s all a bit…wah like something is truly lacking. I’m continuing because I want to complete the series.

Just brilliant - the story I never knew I needed to read!
I’ve adored this series and had actually already read the next one after this, thinking I would skip Cal’s story as it wouldn’t be that interesting in comparison…. Well, I am more than happy to eat my own words - this one was an absolute smash!! First up, the author’s writing style, her wit, her vocabulary and phrasing….it is just next level. How she manages to transport you into this world that seems so far fetched when you consider the synopsis but feels so real and utterly compelling within 30 pages of each book is something else. This story is a brilliant read for anyone who loves books in this genre, but particularly for any woman in her 40’s like me, going through perimenopause, asking themselves what they want from their life now and what they are no longer prepared to tolerate. It hits home on so many levels.

Cal is 🔥
I was so excited for Cal’s story. He’s the only single co-owner of Alchemy, Londons high class sex club. Cal has very much enjoyed the perks of running a club like this, single and happy with his life. Aida is in her late forties (my demographic) perimenopausal and recently divorced from her cheating husband. She set out to discover her sexuality having lead a very vanilla sex life. She was matched with Cal and wow what a match it ended up being. I didn’t think Aida would be as adventurous as she was, she truly embraced the process. I loved everything about this book, it was a fast paced easy read and Cal is such a sweetheart ❤️

Some books are worth waiting for, especially when the character you've been craving proves to be so much more than you were expecting. And wow, did Elodie Hart bring the more I wanted with Untether. Aida is the perfect unexpected heroine. She's confident yet vulnerable, and her trust in Cal is wonderful to watch unfold. As her belief in their process develops, so does her trust in herself. Already a powerhouse in her professional life, watching her command the presence and respect she craves and deserves in her personal life is empowering and invigorating. And Cal… unf! That man! Wow, does he come through. Not only is he exactly the unfettered, explicit boytoy we were all expecting, he is the king of making his queen feel untethered and cherished. And he does it all while tackling his own desires and needs. His recognition of what he and Aida have together, how it’s unique and precious and exactly what he truly craves, is beautiful to witness. Maybe it's the menopausal 50-something-year-old in me, but I loved seeing the heroine take center stage. This is a love story between Cal and Aida—and Cal is the Alchemy connection, the character readers have been itching for—but make no mistake, she is the star. And he is the swoon-worthy, successful, confident hero who puts her on the pedestal she's earned and makes her the center of his world. Exactly as she should be, and exactly as he wants her to feel. At its very core, Untether is about letting go and learning to trust. It’s about identifying and owning your own needs, then finding, accepting, and empowering the perfect person to help you understand what they are and how to achieve them. Well, mission accomplished. Because at the end of this story I truly felt seen, valued, and understood. And that is a feeling that will stick with me long after the story has ended, the book closed, and the review written. Untether is part of the Alchemy series and can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting with book one (Unfurl) for a full understanding of how Alchemy works and the characters involved.

Oh I absolutely fell for Cal & Aida’s story. Chefs kiss 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 This was hot and sexy and deliciously filthy Cal is so frick’n charming, funny and downright filthy “Permission to switch to lube?” I loved how empowering the story line was for Aida. I kept getting flashbacks of “How Stella Got Her Grove Back” go girl, I was here cheering her on, her hype girl The way Cal becomes so intoxicated by her, the way he listens to her. He is so empathetic towards her and validates her emotions that’s in such a unmatched way, ya it had me swooning

This was a great read. I loved the MCs so much and the story was very empowering. I think this one and the previous are my 2 favourites in the series so far. Check your trigger warnings and happy reading!

Who doesn't love a good golden retriever boy in the streets and a LITERAL freak in the sheets. 🥵 The Alchemy series is fast paced, fast burn and though there's very little angst, it still keeps you enthralled in the story line. Each book doesn't lessen or taper off with your love for the characters or the chemistry they have with each other. One of my favorite series. ❤️

This is a thoroughly entertaining book of Cal and Aida’s life changing journey. Age gap, no matter what the dynamic, can be very rewarding and filled with love. The bonus with this author is that the manuscript does not need further editing!! Go on, read it and enjoy the experience.
