Kudzu

Guys, this herb works! I was extremely skeptical about any "miracle" fix, especially when countless methods simply did not work for me and I was often back to the same toxic cycle. I even tried Naltrexone but that only helped a few hours at a time, and didn't work if I had a stressful day at work. I started taking this and after about 3 or 4 days I felt a strange loss of interest in alcohol. (To note, I took two tablets in the morning with food, I'm 5'10" and 180lbs. I've read that the dose effectiveness depends on your overall size.) The effect was very subtle at first. I tested it out on day 2 by opening a wine bottle, but I barely drank half a glass. Even the half glass I was drinking tasted unpleasant. It's not that it tasted different, but it's like the craving part of my brain wasn't firing when I was imbibing the wine. Within a week I stopped buying alcohol altogether because it somehow felt ridiculous. There's an overall greater sense of calm in my body, and I'm noticing that there's no sense of panic or dread about getting that "fix". It's so bizarre. I'd like to read more on the science behind it, there's not nearly enough literature about it, but going to keep taking it regardless. I'm also thrilled to learn that it also helps regulate your insulin (which often gets wrecked with excessive drinking). I'm so grateful for this medicine. Full disclosure about my diet: I don't drink soda or anything sugary and avoid carbs if I can. I have increased my protein and healthy fats over the last year, which does help minimize cravings to some extent, but nothing helped as much as Kudzu. Hands down.

Stopped me in my tracks! I enjoy a mid week glass of wine or two but after taking the dose I had two sips and left it sitting on the table. Curbed my cravings very effectively, no lie.

This stuff is great. It truly helps break that "it's 5pm let's have a drink to unwind" habit. I can tell when it's wearing off though, you do need to keep up with the doses.

Kudzu if taken in the dosages recommended will definitely curb your "desire" to drink, but will not have any effect on your habit to drink. If you love beer and wine or whatever and have no desire to quit or cut down, this will not help you other than to possibly reduce the amount you drink. The best way I can describe it is that it makes you indifferent. If you choose to go ahead, it won't stop you. But if you choose to not have that beer, your body and mind won't care much. I really don't know how it works, but it does. If you want to quit, genuinely, it takes the edge off. I am only 3 doses in, and my goal is to be alcohol free by the end of next week. I'm pretty sure I can do it with this stuff.

I was doing a lot of research on this product and I missed the fact this particular product needs 6 a day. It does seem to work! But that's a lot of daily doses, to me. 50 pills is less then a 10 day supply, and that's a heck of a lot of filler and swallowing! There are other products that take 2 and therefor cost less for monthly supplies. Value for money is very bad.

I started taking kudzu to try to control alcohol cravings, and at first, I was disappointed because it didn't seem to do anything. Then, out of desperation, I started taking multiple brands of kudzu (this was one of them), totaling 2-3g's of kudzu in the morning, and then another g of kudzu around lunch if I even thought about alcohol. The dosage is 2 capsules three times a day. You don't get enough pills to take this dosage. In order to take the recommended dosage there should be at least 125 pills in the bottle, NOT 25. AT LEAST SELL THE BOTTLE WITH THE AMOUNT OF PILLS THAT YOU RECOMMEND. I gave 1 star based on the number of pills you get and the product dosage only I have not taken the supplement to review how it works.

Doesn't work. Don't waste your money.
