Uni Drop Holder Type Pencil Lead, 2.0mm, HB (ULNHB)

It’s nice and dark like I had hoped. The reviews that mention that you have to sharpen more often are correct, because even though it’s 2HB, it’s still soft. I’ll try a grade harder next time. I only use it to write on my journal and the tip becomes rounded after half a page on a B6 so I just rotate it for a page and half or two before sharpening again. I don’t press down hard because I write in a laying position, or curled up.

Great stuff

Just what I was looking for.

I used these leads in my Caran d'ACHE 2MM mechanical to sketch (After taking off the cap at the blunt end of the lead). It sharpens nicely and is strong while under slight pressure. Other leads break easily - but these are quite nice. It writes very smooth on paper and gives a lot of tones depending on how you use it - doesn't feather or smear as much, it's still a HB so it can only get so dark. But it makes an excellent on-the-go pencil lead for my pocket sketch book. I'd recommend giving it a try, it's certainly feels different from the ones you get form your office/art supply stores.

High quality led for the older style drafting pencils or led holders and the new ones.

This is great smooth writing/drawing lead, one of my favorites. It does seem to be a touch softer than most HB.

The lead is good but they all arrived broken. I know I can still use them but I will lose part of the lead by sharpening the pieces.

Very nice dark lead, writes darker than the same grade in other 2mm lead but is still smoother and darker than other softer grades when using pressure. It's hard to fully explain but these leads are unique and high quality.
