Q: The smell of silicone was so strong I couldn't stand it. I tried washing them but the smell is still there. Any suggestions?

I finally had to toss these liners away. I tried washing them in so many ways that typically remove odors, but the final straw was when I recently made apple/walnut /raisin muffins and the silicon odor just overpowered the muffins.

Q: Are these non stick ?

Yes. I made muffins and cupcakes with them and there was no sticking. Great product.

Q: I was given these as a gift but haven't used them yet. Do you remove them from the cupcake before serving or do you serve them with jackets on?

I always remove before putting icing onto cupcakes

Q: Are these BPA free???

The box label also contains the warning symbol with the number 7 which indicates it is not pure silicone and could contain BPA. It does not contain a BPA free symbol or an FDA symbol.
