CT-X700 EDP Educational Keyboard Pack with Power Supply, Stand, Headphones, USB Cable, and Instructional Software (CAS CTX700 EDP)

Really fun toy I bought myself. Love the different sounds and there is a ton of settings to experiment with. I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this keyboard can do! The stand and headphones are great. The “educational software” is a complete joke which was a disappointment. From what I could tell, by the end, you’re playing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” which is the first lesson of many beginning piano books, not the last. And with that, you're directed to the eMedia website where you are pitched the rest of the program for $44.95. C’mon, seriously? The keyboard is great. It really wouldn't take much to give folks the decent lesson/ instruction book. Actually, the image of the eMedia program shown is not what you get. That's the $45 option you are directed to at the end of the cheesy cd you do get. That's just not right.

I have owned this product for over 6 months. I am a complete beginner to piano/keyboard. OK, my mom tried to teach me when I was about 10 years old. (I failed to learn much past chop sticks!) I am 68 now. I read a few reviews stating it had poor sound quality and one person had a hiss when hooked up to a sound system. He tried 2x on different keyboards. Perhaps his cables or sound system was at fault. Whaaat? My wife and I both agree that the speakers provide a nice quality sound when playing. I am learning to play through an online course and have determined that my Casio CT-x700 is plenty for me to learn the keyboard. Maybe I won't be using it when I get my request to play with the Philadelphia philharmonic orchestra (LOL), but for now I am definitely pleased with my purchase.

This keyboard was recommended by a music shop who only sold it w/o headphones, book etc., for the same price as Amazon. I bought it as I needed something to practice with for a piano class. It works well, has a lot of variables for other instruments and sounds. As a novice I am enjoying it and doing well in class because of practicing with it. Wish it had better instructions for features.

My son has Autism and is a little musical virtuoso. He has gone through multiple keyboards because he plays so much. He is absolutely Loving this one!!

I started the keyboard two years ago. I know enough songs to do four sets in a club as a solo artist. LOL. You can have a virtual band back you up on this keyboard. Has some cool settings too. It's not like playing in a real band but with covid going on I can play to CD's I run this into my home stereo. Speakers that come in it sound good also. I'm just like it louder at times. This makes me want to practice. I play guitar and drums. Worked in many bands. It has a really good sound. Way better than the old Casio.

If you’re considering buying this package for the lessons like I just did, let me save you the headaches! The eMedia Starter Keyboard Lessons does NOT work on iPad, iPhone, or current versions of Mac operating systems. Unless you are running a very old operating system on your PC or Mac, eMedia expects you to partition your hard drive and load an old 32-bit operating system if you wish to use the lessons with the keyboard. I bought this ‘Educational’ Casio package as a surprise birthday gift for my wife, and although the keyboard is fine, it’s pretty useless if my wife can’t learn to play it as advertised. False advertising and a HUGE disappointment!

I am a beginner at keyboarding/piano and I have bought expensive cheesy trash pianos claiming to be the best in its price range. Assuming that my keyboards were the best I could afford within the 500 dollar price range, I saw this and wanted to have a little bit more fun with having extra options that are already built in. I didn't expect much of anything. I thought I would just have fun with the tones and go back to my digital piano I have. Uh no... this one blew my other ones out of the water and is an easy replacement. I am so happy with my purchase. Packaging was a little beat up but nothing is broken. Also, to anyone not sure, it does come with the music rest. I hope you love it as much as I do :)

I brought the Educational version of the product but didn't received the software . I wanted to keep the product but I have no other option other than to return the product.

The keyboard is great!
