Good trimmer for the price but if you have a breed with thick fur like a Golden retriever then I recommend the trimmer with two batteries cause you may run out of charge with just the one.

Work Nice for furry dogs, build quality and battery ok for home use for me it's a 5 star, I shave my pet at home almost avery month in summers , but with attachments iam not able to use othewise thumspup

This is my second trimmer I thought I messed up the first one I bought before, but that's not the case... It feels like these are disposable trimmers they work only once. I used this trimmer yesterday first time on one of my cat, today I'm trying to use it on my other cat nd it's not working since the 10day replacement window is over now I'm having hard time to get in touch with customer care... Same thing had happened to first one... Please don't waste your money

Ordered the trimmer for my German Shepherd. He has a dense coat and I have been cutting his hair with scissors and my beard trimmer earlier. It used to take 5-6days with 3-4hrs daily. Ordered Petology Professional Automatic Pet Hair Trimmer skeptically. My beard trimmer always used to get stuck in my dog's hair. But petology trimmer works better. Ofcourse it also stuck a few times, but changing the angle and direction of trimming did the job.The only problem seems to be low battery life. It has an extra battery provided with it. It took me 2days with around 2.5-3hrs trimming each day with Petology trimmer.This trimmer has 4 size combs provided for different size trimming and they work good.Although it mentions 5 speed setting, I don't notice any difference in speed. Rather, it changes the distance of trimmer blade from skin.It isn't silent or very low noise as claimed. Noise and vibrations can be felt easily. But since my dog was accustomed to my old trimmer, it didn't made any difference.The only concern while buying this trimmer was heating issue with the blade. But the blade doesn't heat up significantly as observed by other buyers. I could touch the blade with my hands after 1hr of continuous use and didn't notice much heat. And when you use combs or even without combs, when using at 1mm to 2mm settings, blade doesn't touch dog's skin. So it should not be of much concern. it already has a plastic covering that touches the skin.Although it does have an extra battery provided, it would have been perfect if the battery backup was around 3-5hrs for each battery. Deducted 1 star for the battery.No complaints after the 1st use.Suggestion: Many pet owners tend to buy plastic/steel/wooden combs, scissors and nail cutter for their dogs before thinking about buying a trimmer. these thing could be made add-ons.Would recommend to all pet owner as a must have, if you like grooming your dog regularly.
