Repaired antique pedestal lamp. Fit perfectly.

The floor lamp I was repairing uses a mogul socket, and is extremely old. The switch may have been bad, some parts were missing or broken, and the cord was questionable. After several trips to various businesses, I came to the conclusion that starting with a new socket made the most sense. At that point I could see the finish line; a new cord and bulb and I was in business. Amazon & Amazon Prime really helped me (that's where I found the complete socket)! The next day service fit my need.

Switch knob is rather hard to turn, otherwise it works fine.

Super easy to install, don't know about energy savings. Fixed up my neighbor's antique lamp so she could use it again without starting a fire. Everything came in good shape and easy install.

Old antique lamp

We have an antique floor lamp that has a three way, mogul base socket. The lowest setting had been acting erratically. It would start out fine, then, without warning, it would just go out. I took the lamp apart to check all the connections. Everything was fine. I figured it had to be the socket. I tried Ace, Lowes, Home Depot and Menards, but no one had a replacement. It's not such a popular size anymore. But, it was on Amazon! (of course it was!) Delivery was fast - it got here a day earlier than they said it would! It fit perfectly and worked like it should. Project done and my wife is happy! Win!

Very hard to turn on&off , it is very hard

Product arrived and works fine. But there was no tracking info and I wondering if it might not ever be shipped. Thankful it showed up.

Installed in fixture and only the 200 watt,300 watt, and off work. Not the first click, tried different bulbs.

socket works perfectly.The only exception is that the knob is very stiff and hard to turn but other than that it is very good.
