Black and Decker FSM13E1EPP Basic Steam Mop 240v

My previous steamer finally gave up the ghost ( think it was well over 10 years old). Having consulted 'Which' I bought this. The manufacturer's name is good and it was not too expensive. Compared to the old one it is a dream....I particularly like the head as it gets into the corners and does the job well.

Tried this on my porcelain bathroom floor and the result was okay. Did absolutely nothing on the grout, despite multiple attempts.

Love it, so easy to use. Better than my old vax.

Mop head broke and arrived with signs of use

This is a really effective steam cleaner without any whistles or bells. It's light enough to steam upholstery, it's quick and easy to fill. Yes, the cord could be longer but using an extension lead is easy to do. It's value for money and guaranteed for two years so if it goes wrong within this time then you are covered. Great product.

Effective in cleaning floors though filling with water is slightly cumbersome and switches not immediately apparent as rocker type. Cheers Gordon.

Alas I tried and my son tried and my neighbour tried alas no steam the steam button did not work and I had to return it to the seller , I had to have their permission to return it and paid £8.99 postage not sure if I get that back on the 7th of July with an estimate delivery of 3 days.A good friend we worked together for 15 years bought one and recommended it to me. She did her and her mothers house and is extremely happy with it. With the Corona 19 and having my boiler serviced as well as someone to come and fix my cracked window pane thought it would be ideal. It can happen that an item is faulty, hope I am not out of pocket.
