PlayStation VR - Astro Bot Rescue Mission + Moss Bundle

After all the praise the game received and having a little bit of curiosity in VR, I decided to make the jump given that this bundle includes two of the highest rated VR games and it was worth the price.Regarding astro bot I have to say im super impressed, I was expecting some good platformer but what i got is one of the generations best, this game is the love child of mario galaxy and ape escape and a preview into what would a nintendo vr game be, the game is full of charm, color and great gameplay. Videos on youtube make no justice of the experience in VR,remember when you were a child and thought it would be great to be inside a game world? Astro bot makes that fantasy a reality, you are actually part of the world and the mechanic is used in some clever ways that you will be smiling all the way. I had what people call your "first VR moment" when I got to the first boss and saw a towering 50 foot gorilla in a way that looking in a non vr device would not have made the same impact or make it justice the scale was insane! I knew then that i was in for something really special.Regarding the PSVR i have to say the setup is quite friendly and easy, after thet initial setup i can now easily set and remove from my ps4 with no hassle and the headset is quite confy even for a glasses wearing user like me. While I was interested in VR never looked to much into it because of the price entry, after playing astro bot im now highly interested in VR and im looking forward to future releases while looking for gems that i have missed. I highly recommend this bundle as a first entry into VR.

Awesome product and experience. They shipped it well, sealed package, and received it as scheduled. The VR is fun. It’s a unique experience. You can get previews for the VR games, which helps alot, to try before you buy. It’s vivid. While I like Moss’ concept even before I got it, the previews are the way to know exactly what a game is. There is a bit of set up involved for the VR, though it’s worth it. I would like a little more flexibility so I could vary between standing and sitting.

I love VR! I have the Odyssey+ and the vive Pro. If you do not have a killer PC there is only one option... the PSVR. I purchased this because of Sony’s exclusives. And like always they are top notch, Astro bots, Far Point, Firewall Zero hours, they are all can’t miss experiences and the system as a whole is over all worth it! There is one major flaw for me... If the game supports aim controller it is fantastic! If it is a third person type game and you use the dual shock it is great! However if it is a first person type of game and your best option is the move controllers...well then you are in for a horrible experience. Why Sony relys on ps3 hardware is nothing short of a money grab. It’s like they said “hey we have a warehouse full of this crap that did not sell the first time around, how can we recoup our losses. If Sony really cared about their fans they would release updated VR controllers. One can only hope and wait for the psvr2 what a shame

I was pleased to see this was exactly as advertised. Psvr 2nd version, plus the new style camera a physical copy of Astrobot and digital coupon for Moss. I searched quite a bit for a new psvr bundle at a good price and was hesitant to get this because I thought there was a catch. A lot of bundles say discontinued and I assumed the digital game code would be expired. It was not however and worked without any complications. The code said it would expire in 2025 so while they may not be making these discontinued bundles they are completely legitimate, at least the one I purchased was.As for the fit and function of the psvr, I'm fairly blown away. I kept reading and watching reviews where people would say that you have to experience it to appreciate it and they are absolutely correct. My mind was really blown. After about 3 hours I started getting a little motion sickness though and the view through the headset can be slightly grainy. So have realistic expectations but if you haven't ever used VR before and you have read this far into my long drawn out review, just buy the thing and stop reading! :)

The PlayStation VR is such a cool addition to the PS4. The two games in this bundle are such a perfect implementation of the VR and when you are playing moss you will find yourself in Moss’ world. A few comments/caveats the VR require quite a bit of wiring, including one of the front usb, so if you want to charge both PlayStation move controller, you won’t be able to do while playing with the VR. Depending on where you place the camera you might need to stand, even if the game does not require much movement. This bundle does not include the motion controllers so careful if you are planning to play super hot or beat saber, however the motion controller for the ps3 works.

GREAT !!! Definitely a pricey addition but if you can afford it, this is a Must have for serious gamers and a Fantastic look into the future of technology.Virtual Reality is the future and this is the beginning. Games are still cartoonish and video gamey but does give you that actual VR feel and sense. Still very impressive. Visuals are smooth and clear, not glitchy or slow.If you're a fan of The movie Ready Player One, definitely get this as it definitely gives you that same movie feel.Highly recommend

Yeah, it's cool an all... for 15 minutes. Eye fatigue and light pain from wearing the headset makes the whole experience get old fast... Can't really enjoy a long gaming session, watching videos or movies isn't very enjoyable, did my best to achieve the clearer image possible but blurriness, bad peripheral vision and annoying double-looking text are a problem and makes me quit rather fast. Games built from the ground up for VR like Moss and Astro Bot are REALLY good, but can't fully enjoy them for the previous reasons... Nah, it isn't a must buy. VR needs more time, maybe 1 or 2 more generations.
