Nicely made strike plate. I needed one that was a bit wider than typical in order to extend to the edge of the door casing. This one works perfectly.

I needed a lightly longer strike plate to protect the 3/4" trim on our doors. There are perfect. They are indistinguishable from the stock plate that comes with the new doorknob set. The finish matched and they seem durable. Easy to install and viewing the dimensions diagram made sure I knew that I was getting was correct length, in my case, 1 3/4" long from the hole.

My new home had 1/2"-thick moulding added outside the door frame. As a result, the latch was hitting and gouging the trim, and sometimes the door wouldn't swing closed without forcing it. I replaced the strike plates with this extended strike plate and it was fixed in five minutes. I ordered two strikeplates. The build quality is good and both measured identically. They are very thick and I was unable to bend them, even with pliers. They had a small lip inside the hole that didn't match my old strike plate, but it was easy to chisel a tiny amount of wood out of the pocket with a flathead screwdriver for a perfect fit. The color is a very dark, satin oil bronze with no brushing or color variation. Almost a matte espresso/black. After using the door for months, I haven't seen any visible scratches or streaks in the finish. Great price, and very convenient for something I couldn't find at the hardware store.

This strike plate fit perfectly and was just what I needed to fit over 3/4” door trim.

This was a perfect fit. Previous owner had original/standard strike plate, which meant the locking bolt would hit the trim (casing) every time it closed. Just a couple of minutes with a screwdriver and it's all better. Looks great and works like it should.

The door trim on a remodeled room stuck out farther than anticipated by the standard lip strike sold with door latches, but this extended plate was the perfect size to protect the wood trim. Very pleased, as part looks like an exact match as preexisting plates except for the longer reach. So far, scratching of the finish (from opening and closing the door) has been minimal enough, and there's no hideous brass-on-silver color difference between the scratch and unscratched areas.

Not so impressed.. nice to find extended plates but this product came delayed and all scratched up. My project was already delayed waiting for this piece to arrive so I had no choice but to use it as is.
