Can I use this product to spray over a picture glued onto a painted wood surface?

Hello, I don't know what your picture is made of. Is it a print on paper, a painting, or something else?Rustoleum spray lacquer is not compatible with acrylic, so could ruin your art if there is an acrylic finish already on it. I recommend you get a spray can of Krylon Crystal Clear spray ACRYLIC (not lacquer) in gloss, satin, matte, or what ever finish you want. This is compatible with many different types of paints and finishes. Test it first, if you can. I don't recommend either finish for valuable art. Michael's also has various spray finishes (more expensive) made for coating prints and paintings, like picture varnish or something similar. (I usually use Rustoleum spray lacquer only on ceramics and metal.) Good luck!!!

Can I use it outdoor?

I sprayed a shiny copper wind yard ornament three years ago, and it is still shiny and protected. It is in the desert sun all day.

Spray on stainless steel bathroom shower caddy?

it will work on stainless steel. if you are using clear coat, the surface needs to be rough in order for it to stick. if you are using the lacquer paint, it will stick to stainless fairly well. it has to be dry and clean at start and dont get it wet for at least 24 hours.

Can this be used on rubber, like on the soles of shoes?

It can be sprayed on anything. Multiple coats will build thickness. The solvents will attack some rubber or some plastics. After it dries, continuous flexing would crack a coating.

Great product, performs exactly as said by seller- Lovely glossy finish- 2/3 coats may be needed- depends on what youre using it on- please READ & FOLLOW Safety instructions on the can- fumes are hazardous to health- use OUTDOORS ONLY- but/parantu/kintu/lekin, the seller shud give more sturdy & protective packaging than just 1layer thin bubble film- luckily my item wasnt damaged in transit- product is just Super- HIGHLY RECOMMEND it- great value for your money esp. at this price- no need to beg carpenters to polish small items at your home- they tend to be rather high handed and stiff-collared for doing small jobs- besides they'll probably charge you a bomb for some small job- you can do many small jobs in just one can- Happy Spraying :) !!!

Perfect "Wet Look" Spray for rocks and other crafts; great protectant

I bought this spray to give my rocks that "wet look," and it really delivers! It deepens their natural colors while adding a durable layer of protection. It’s easy to use, but a word of advice: don't hold the can too close or it can drip and clump up. Applying short, light bursts works best for a smooth finish. It’s also fantastic for sealing and rust-proofing metal. I love gluing metal charms to my rocks to create art pieces, and this spray does a wonderful job of protecting and adding a beautiful shine. Highly recommend for crafters!
