Midori Compact Scissors, XS Series, White (49470006)

These sheers are highly compact. Very portable and are greatest quality: their cut is sharp and precise. I love them!

Convenient little scissors that snip very well. Only thing I didn't like was the paper gets stuck on the thick handle. Once you guide the paper around the handle you can continue to snip. Other than that, it's good to have an extra pair of scissors in my desk draw.

Blade sharpness out of the package is excellent. I tested them immediately after receiving them. standard paper, construction paper and thin plastic will all cut very with the Midori XS. I also tried this product on the bubble wrap envelope it was shipped in and again, scissors worked great. Can be opened and closed one-handed. Spring-action feels good. Pleasantly surprised with the build quality for the price.

These are lovely little scissors. They feel reasonably well built. However, I've been mainly using them to trim green onion stalks, and after just a month of use they're starting to crush rather than snip unless I hold them in a particular way. Just a minor annoyance, not quite a deal breaker. I'd say these are best for occasional rather than regular use.

I first needed some "getting used to" because I originally was (still am) a great fan of a different mini retracting scissors. But I wanted to try this one too because it was a bit cheaper. Turns out, this one also cuts really well and is quite sturdy. In fact it is more sturdi-ly and stable-ly locked when in use than the differnent product that I like so much. The lock was the part that bugged me a bit in the beginning because the other product that I like so much has a very smooth movement when pushing the blades in and out, and it stays inside my fingers. This product kind of "springs out from one finger" when I push the blades out. Pushing the blades back in also required a bit more strength. But I got used to holding onto one side of the handle, and I now like this product a lot as well. I just hoped this product was just a bit slender and had some pretty colors. But overall, I highly recommend!

Small and easy to store. Does the job. also a great thing to fidget with.

コンパクト、フタ無し、刃の長さが十分ある。 加えてバネが強めで厚めの紙も切れます。 刃と刃の合わせが緩いと薄い物が切れなかったりしますが、こちらは薄いビニールもスパッと切れます。 携帯ハサミとしては優秀だと思います。 地味な点ですがストラップ穴も有り、ストラップを付ければカバンの中で迷子になりにくい。 コンパクトゆえ無くしやすい欠点もちゃんと解消されている。
