Spectre Performance 5428 Engine Dress Up Kit

Nice cheap valve covers, I read some reviews before I bought and I was hesitant at first. I replaced my stock valve covers with these on my 93 Chevy Silverado K1500 5.7. they fit great On the heads a bit tight clearance getting them in just squeezed them in softly. No leaks, clean looks, decent price.

I bought these valve covers for an engine project but they do NOT fit aftermarket rockers. They looked nice though. If you have a stock engine and want to dress it up, these feel great and would fit. I ended up getting some tall valve covers.

These chrome valve covers were absolutely cheap junk sold at a "quality asking price". (Right out of the package) the chrome was all scuffed up with scratches including the oil breather cap, and oil fill cap. the chrome plating was not even buffed out (very dull metal) on all the highly visual lower corners including outside the lower cover rails that shows on both sides the full length of both covers. The oil cap has threads to screw into the cover, but no threads in the cover, only crudely "crimped" not allowing it to screw in or fully seat and seal to the cover which would allow oil to blow by. Whoever the manufacturer and packager was should be totally ashamed of how this product was made, of it's careless handling, its inspection before packaging,, and the packaging itself of such a inferior, below substandard, and highly disappointing product... I wouldn't put these on an old farm field truck, much less a street rod I've built, show, and have pride in!

The covers are very attractive and seem to have reasonably good finish and chrome. There were some clearance problems with the engine brackets and the intake manifold. In effect some modification could be required.

It was hard to get the one to go on the passenger side, but the one on driver side went on easy. It was like the bolts and wholes didn't line up right. once I got them on, they sealed up fine and have not had any problems. They look great too.

It fit and fit well onto the block but the oil cap will not shut completely down and the cap is not made well so when you try and tighten it, it would slip. It looks good but I would rather it function properly.

No time to install Arrived on time and nothing bent. All parts there in box Placed on 88-95 tBI sbc 305, but can work on the sbc 350's And vortec motors.

Worked great looked great. Wish they had maybe some black lettering on them but that's just a look I would have like but they fit well and looked great.

Intellcom shipping delivery has the poorest customer service. 3 times I tried calling them to schedule for parcel pickup that they scratched up these excellent looking valve covers. No answer. If you have to ship get someone else to. As for the product. Very good.

These were the only valves covers I could find to replace the OEM ones on my 91 suburban. I could not find any other valve covers that had a proper twist on oil fill cap. The holes aren't perfectly aligned, you have to finagle it a little to get the studs on, but it still works.

Bought in November 2018 for a winter car project i was restoring. I installed them April 2018 along with the other dress up parts i bought through Amazon. They started to leek immediately. tried to tighten a 1/4 turn at a time, still leaked, took them off, cleaned sealing surface, installed new gaskets and still leaked, took them off again, cleaned sealing surface reinstalled with high temp silicone gasket maker, it was better but still started leaking after a week. My Advice, dont buy anything you plan on using later on. Make sure you buy when you have to install.

Fits but is a little flimsy. Please note that it does not come with seals. Will definitely ding and show minor damage easily. .
