Correct item.
Had a leak from the toilet for a long time. Just found where the leak was coming from. The cistern pipe connected to the toilet bowl was needing a seal. The item I bought from Amazon was the correct item needed, thanks. Now it doesnt leak, huray!

Don’t forget to supplement with sealer
Barely large enough for the toilet pan flush entry point, but I was able to get a watertight seal using additional Fernox silicon sealer.However, the central hole gripped the 40mm cistern pipe far better than any of the other three brands I tested.
