only had this 7 months and the c & x keys are no longer working - have tried renewing batteries. Anything else I can try?

The keyboard doesn't go through the identification on my MacBook. The mouse works fine but the keyboard doesnt.

This is easy, just re-connect the keyboard and USB Dongle: First Step: ready the batteries and don't insert the USB Dongle. Second, install the AAA batteries into keyboard, quickly to press " esc " and " Q ", Then, the indicate red light is flashing, right now to insert the USB Dongle to USB port. After 2sec, the indicate is off. Third step, install the AA battery into Mouse. 。。。。。And, Important Tips: When you are the first time to use this keyboard and mouse set, The Mac OS may ask you to do the " Keyboard Setup Assistant ". Please don't do that. Just close that window, it works well.
