Cool technology, lightweight, and comfortable
Before buying these sleeping pads for my family of four, I really questioned if they would be worth the price. I had a good experience with Venture 4th sleeping bags so willing to try out the pads. After several camping trips, they definitely provided their money's worth and I think they are durable enough to last a very long time. The inflation technology is super cool - so easy. The pad is comfortable; it doesn't sit too high from the ground (about an inch or two) but provides a nice sleeping surface and keeps you warm and dry. It's easy to carry and it is very easy to deflate and repackage in its carrying sleeve (super important to me - it's one of my pet peeves when I need to wrestle equipment back into its pack.)

The VENTURE 4TH sleep pad did an excellent job on this trip
I took this sleep bag pad on a 4 day hike through the Grand Canyon. This means incredible views, cold nights and hard ground! The VENTURE 4TH sleep pad did an excellent job on this trip. It was very comfortable, never lost air and I slept better than I have in years. The extra inches that are added to the camp sleep pad made the difference for me as I am a side sleeper. Another plus is that it is easy to deflate, packs well and it is very durable (except you are an ultra light hiker). The comfort I enjoyed from this camping pad really was the icing on the cake. You will really enjoy using it.

Amazing pad for the price
This really is a solid pad given the price and is perfect for the overnight backpacker or car camper or really anyone trying to get a solid gear set up without burning a hole in their wallet.Pad is thick, comfortable, and fits all 6 feet of me no problem! The self inflation works surprisingly well and I know of very expensive pads boasting their self inflation properties that you need to completely blow up yourself. While you always will need to give “self inflating” pads SOME air, this one is just a few quick breaths and you are good to go!My only real complaint is it is a little bulky in the pack but that’s to be expected on a pad of this thickness and temperature retention, I would gladly take an extra pound and a little less room in my backpack for a warmer and more comfortable pad.Thank you VENTURE4TH I look forward to using this pad more.

Must Have Camping Product
First off I have to state the first order I placed did not end up showing up. I did place a 2nd order and finally received it in the 2 business day normal shipping time. I have to say I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a little extra comfort and warmth when camping. I used this pad in below 30 degree weather tent camping. The first night I did not use this product and didn't necessarily get cold but noticed my feet were a little chilly. The 2nd night I used this pad for the first time and probably had the best night sleeping in a tent ever. It made a tremendous difference in not only the warmth category but in comfort as well. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a sleeping pad for camping. It is very well built, easy to set up and pack away. The self inflating is a bonus and offers a nice feature, you do have to top off to your comfort rating. Overall extremely happy and will be buying another.

Narrow
This mattress would be good for thin adults or children. I’m large frame and it’s not even wide so ouch for my shoulders. I also turn a lot at night so this is a no go for larger people. It’s also noisier than I expected. Very compact and lightweight, though

Great comfort at unbeatable price
I enjoy finding new outdoor companies to try their products. Venture 4th is one such company to keep an eye on. Forget the deals you see and just buy the pad. It’s worth the $35. On the day it was delivered I had already received an email from the company on its warranty policy (as good as the best outdoor outfitters) so I’m glad to see their customer service going above and beyond what is the norm these days. This is a self inflating pad but that doesn’t mean it gets it to your desired level of thickness on its own. You do have to blow in it a little. I’m most impressed with the valve construction as it goes well inside and along the edges of the pad. This ensures it won’t slip out like others I’ve tried out including thermorest. I took it camping this past weekend and it worked like a charm. This is a great pad for those camping for the weekend but may be a bit to big when packed down for ultralight hikers going on a thru-hike. In that case a thermorest that may collapse or have it’s air valve break is a better bet.

Great for kids
My 9 year old used this on her school field trip that was an overnight trip. I was worried about my kid sleeping on the hard floor. This sleeping mat was perfect and matched well with the sleeping bag I bought. At first I was a little apprehensive for her to use this on her own, however I had my kiddo practice at home several times inflating, deflating, folding, rolling it up and stuffing it in the case it came in. I told my kid that she has to learn how to do things on her own. Mommy & Daddy can’t always be there to help you. Lol. Even though there were adult chaperones, she was able to set it up independently and on her own without adult help. I was really proud of her! She said it was really comfortable too!

Better than nothing
I've been using this for over a month now in my friends living room waiting for a house so I can getcall my stuff from storage.Overall because of how lightweight and portable it is this is a good sleeping pad. It's not very thick so the comfort isn't anything crazy, but paired with a cot it makes a difference. Just using the cot after a week I'd have muscle aches and sore spots but adding this pad solved all that. The size might leave some to be desired for people, I'm not a big guy but my arms are right on the edge and usually half my legs are off to the side. The self inflate leaves it under inflated in my opinion, usually an extra breath gives it the firmness I like. After about a week I start to notice that it's lost some of the air but it's very quick to top off again.
