Dante, a demon slayer with half-demon parentage, takes a missing child case that forces him to reflect on his past, his family, and his demon father. Review: Less than a week deliver, quality like new. - Less than a week deliver, quality like new. Review: Witty and a perfect extension to the game - First off I want to say that the art fits the style of Devil May Cry perfectly. The balance of horrid darkness and fight sequences made it all the more enjoyable. Dante's personality doesn't stray too much from what you see in the game, befitting his opponents with witty humor that will make you laugh at times yet soon encasing you into moments of blood and gore that will keep you on edge. The story is very interesting and kept me from putting the book down which I love in manga's and novels. I feel like although this happens pretty far from what we see in the game it still embodies the basic idea that lead up to the games beginning; being that Dante mentions "It's been over a year since we last met" I'm assuming this was the year previous to that moment. This book is definitely something a Devil May Cry fan would love to have and it's worth every penny.

Beautiful art
I usually don't read mangas but I could not put this one down. I'm a fairly recent Devil May Cry fan and loved the games (1 through 4) so I purchased this as well as volume 2 to give me something to read during finals week at school. I found myself reading and reading, more importantly though, I was enjoying the art of the mangas. Dante is frequently being drawn in dynamic poses and a few static poses but he looks amazing. Highly recommended for Devil May Cry fans.

Good. Funny
Good. My favorite of the 2. Takes place before 3. Technically one of the first thing that happens in the dmc timeline.

Gut gemacht!

My thoughts
After playing the Devil May Cry video game series, I needed to purchase this manga book. This book provides extra backstory on Dante and Vergil. I recommend this to people who want to learn more about the Sons of Sparda.
