Do I need to oil my board?

Yes. Although Teak's naturally high oil content keeps your board hydrated for longer periods of time, oiling twice a month will keep your board healthy.

Are your boards pre-finished?

Yes, all our boards are pre-finished with a mix of mineral oil and beeswax. Our Boards are ready to use. Before using for the first time, wash with warm soapy water, and rinse dry with a kitchen towel.

How do I keep my board odor and stain-free?

A teak cutting board rarely absorbs odors or stains, yet, they can happen! Rub a lemon on the board and sprinkle with salt or baking soda. Then, wash, rinse, and dry.
