It’s awesome don’t smell like smoke at all don’t use a lot of pellets. Fall off ribs bone and tender was good flavor. I do salmon. It was wonderful and salmon. If you live in apartment complex, it works perfectly. I highly recommend it.

I am a chef and a grill master. I am accustomed to smoking meats outdoors. This unit is a serious game changer. It gets used at least twice a week. The unit is very easy to use. It connects to your phone via WiFi so that you can monitor it. It heats up relatively fast. No smoke escapes during cooking and it’s very easy to clean. Not to mention everything that I have made came out fantastic. I loved it so much that I purchased another unit for my son. He is also very pleased. This smoker is worth the price and ideal for any home cook. The GE Profile indoor smoker is very well made.

I ordered because I'm moving; I don't have space for my traeger, but I do have space for something like this. I ordered it, and it arrived a few days later. The item that arrived was used, missing all the accessories and many parts, and had pellets strewn in it. Amazon was the seller and had shipped me a return without checking it. Amazon offered a partial refund or a return. Though it bothers me that I bought new and they sent used. I took the return option, and they sent me a new one. It was annoying but Amazon did do the right thing. In using this, it's not a replacement for a traeger. I've had to wrap my head around the idea that it's an electric oven that only goes up to 300 degrees and can add smoke. So, it requires some adjustment around how to use it and expectations. I'm finding that I can get it to produce reasonable quality output, but the technique is very different from a Traeger, and the results aren't nearly as good. But with some attitude adjustments, I can see the value of this and will keep it. It allows bbq in the cold and rain since I can do this indoors. It's does a good job of containing the smoke. The output can be decent. So, if you understand what this is and the limits it works. But there are some things that I really find annoying about it. 1) The app is terrible. I have to kill it and restart if my screen goes dark. Yikes 2) I can't make adjustments that take effect without standing next to the oven - this seems like a serious oversight. 3) The oven only goes to 300 degrees. It would be nice for chicken to go much higher then I wouldn't have to use a second oven to crisp the skin. Bottom line: not perfect, has app issues, but usable. But be sure to understand what you are getting into.

Works fantastic, made some brisket and ribs on separate occassions. Produces good flavor, good for an apartment for sure. Timing will vary based on what you are cooking. I think for something that you can use year round its an excellent item for the price

Good oven - it works on 120v. Bad news - worked 3 times and then failed. ERROR MESSAGE: OPEN BIN RX: None. nada no fix. Obviously, there was nothing wrong. The water bin was full seated and had the proper amount of water. I have cycled power and tried multiple different setting to no avail. App was useless. Contacted GE via the web site and have heard nothing since. Still in warrantee period. GARBAGE !!!! I use it in my garage to avoid smoke fumes, but they are very mild and somehow it clears well before finishing?! The bad news is the smoke flavor us very mild. It does not smoke like an outdoor pit smoker. But, it does add flavor and the automated functions are reliable. It requires custom proprietary wood pellets. You can’t use anything else. The default pellets are not very distinctive, but others are available. The menu system and control knob is not user friendly. The knob has several functions and it takes a whike to figure out how it works. The temp probe works great, but it is hard to plug in when the oven is pre heated- there is a mtal cover that gets hot to the touch. Use a fork or tongs to open it. The manual and web site were not very helpful, but there is a phone spp which was useful for tracking progress. This is an indoor smoker oven, but you won’t get Texas style pit BBQ ( strong smoke flavoring) results. It can handle a full sized chicken or turkey breast, but not a beef brisket. I think it has about a 5 lb limit. FYI: I have used a disposable foil smoker bag in my regular house oven for similar redults.

Smokes and roasts food perfectly. Smoke absolutely does not enter the apartment. It has a fan sound while it's running, but not too bad, much lower noise than my microwave for example.

Does a dissent job, but recipes are too limited and you can’t only use recipes from the booklet. If you lose the booklet you’re stock with only the recipes that you have made in the past and are still in memory. No online recipe booklet to be downloaded.

Love this. Bought one for my daughter. I use it multiple times a week. Makes chicken perfect. Love a pork loin in it. Mac and cheese is delicious smoked in it!
