I love this vitamin C and have ordered it many times. The sodium ascorbate is not too strong of a flavor (if you get a lot of it in not enough water it just tastes a little salty, but not terrible). Other varieties of C are really sour, even at lower doses, and they can be hard on your stomach. We put this in our kids' apple juice and they don't notice (4 and 6 year olds). Also, we take high doses ourselves whenever we feel a cold or other sickness coming on, or even if we're exposed to a possible germy situation. A high dose for me is maybe 8,000 mg, but you'd want to work up to that to make sure your system is alright with it first. It'll depend on your size and how sick you are (if I was healthy I wouldn't be able to take such a high dose at once). Then to keep the C up we'll take 1,000 to 2,000 mg every couple hours. It really does help to keep us healthy! Our kids obviously get smaller doses than that as well. This brand is high quality and a good value too.

Very good quality powdered Vitamin C. High potency. Small quantity yields HIGH mg's. Dissolves quickly. Does have a tolerable aftertaste. I find it best mixed with a bit or orange juice or just plain water. 1/4 tsp = 1000 mg!!!!!!!

This is non acetic. It works! I'm not a doctor or a scam or a representative of the manufacturer. It may read online that ascorbic acid is a hoax. It is not. Mutt mother has a small internal bleed from cancer. Her hemoglobin kept dropping. On a long hospital visit I gave her, every other day, around 3 grams of the powder with an Iron pill. You could literally see the rise and fall every other day. It works! At home I did the regimen for 5 days. When we went in for tests her hemoglobin increased by 1.6!!! She was at 9.4! Doesn't seem like much but her normal was in the 7 range. She ha dnt been that high in 2 years! As a bonus her hematocrit and platelet count more than doubled. It works. Vitamin c allows for absorption of iron. Iron is essential for good blood!

This is Rona Terburg....William is my husband. I use this product. Bronson Laboratories makes several buffered vitamin C preparations. I use this one in the daytime. Another one is buffered with calcium, magnesium, & potassium and I take that one at night. I can honestly say that these products have helped me stay well for the 4-5 years I have taken them. When I run out, which I am SURE not to do any more, I find myself getting the sniffles and feeling exhausted. I wish I had been able to get this product back when I was raising my 6 kids---I was ALWAYS sick :( You can get it by the pound or 2.2 pounds. It lasts a long time (DO NOT REFRIGERATE) and go ahead and take the amount they specify. The 'buffering' allows you to take large amounts without stomach upset. You can also use it to do a "Vitamin C Flush"(look online for the instructions for this!) It is a FABULOUS product!

Seems to be great product and also called company to clarify it is NON_GMO just putting new labels on containers. This does have a salt taste as we don't hardly use salt in our house hold and seems strong salt taste to use two. For people that use salt its probably better and less taste. Will be ordering Acidic with no salt.... but product seems very good over all. thank you....

I bought this to put on my dogs' food (I feed raw). My dogs do competitive disc as well as my puppy does conformation. At about three months old, my pup started to get really flat in her pasterns--some dog show friends told me about this product. She told me to put some on her food daily as well as walking her on uneven surfaces to increase the strength in her tendons. Well, she's now nine months and her feet are looking great. I take comfort in knowing that their tendons get a little extra boost with this product. The dogs aren't phased by if there is a taste of this product. I also don't worry about giving them too much---vitamin C is water soluble and they would just pee it out anyway. They also all have sensitive stomachs and non of them have had an issue. As an extra bonus--this product lasts a long time! I use 1/2 scoop per dog (3) every single day. I've had this product for six months and I'm only about 1/4 of the way through the container. I was recommend to buy this specific product from a friend and now I recommend it to others!
