I recently had neck surgery and was looking for something to help with scar healing. I tried this scar tape and I am so impressed! The tape is incredibly gentle on my sensitive skin, which I was concerned about, but it adheres really well and stays in place throughout the day. I noticed a visible improvement in the appearance of my scar within just two weeks of use. It's softer, less noticeable, and I feel like it's healing faster than expected. Another thing I really appreciate is that it has no scent, so it’s great for people with sensitivities to fragrance. I changed from 3 stars to 5 because it’s working. It’s really working. Even tho I had it since January I wore it every day but also took it off every day and I wasn’t seeing any improvement even after weeks. But for the past month or so I stopped taking it off every single gel day and take it off maybe every 3 days or so and put a new one right away. I even shower with it and now it’s really working. I have a really ugly scar with very dark and wide keloid. It’s also very long. I hate it so much. But now it’s lightening up considerably. There’s even one spot where I had a problematic staple, that looked really bad and it’s pretty much back to my skin color. I am amazed. I know it’s gonna take a while for the whole thing to look better but now I am very hopeful.

The patches are very easy to apply and stay in place. I only gave it 4 Stars because it’s a lithoes early to determine if they significantly reduce scars. However, scar does seem somewhat smaller.

I bought this at the recommendation of my doctor. He didn’t specify a brand so I chose this one based on reviews. I have sensitive skin and thankfully haven't had irritation. My main problem is getting it to stick to my skin. It truly has been helping with this rough patch of skin from a surgery and making it feel moisturized. I just can’t get it stay in place.

I had a large area of skin cancer removed from my shoulder 5 months ago and it left a very substantial and large scar line. I was recommended by my plastic surgeon who did the repair to use these silicone scar sheets to help the scar heal and to help with minimizing the raised/bumpy areas of it. I found these on Amazon with good reviews so decided to go with it. I will admit, I was skeptical about seeing the results after just one use but much to my pleasant surprise...I actually DID see some results in just the first day! I've been using them for almost 5 months now and I am so pleased with the results. The scar line is almost flat at this point in time with just the worst spot still a bit bumpy. The color has minimized some also, but I believe that will take longer. After I use my strips, my scar feels smoother and softer and just feels better. The strips are super easy to use, just peel and press along scar line. They are easy to cut to shape also if needed. I have to cut one into two pieces to fit because I have a zig-zag to the lower part of the scar. They stick right on and super easy to take on and off. Very comfortable and light and they are breathable and flexible. I wear them on the round of my shoulder and it is no issue at all. They last just about 2 weeks then need to be changed. I have another month to go per my doctor's recommendation. I just had my last post-op check and my doctor and nurse said that my scar looked the best that it possibly could at this point in time. They were so pleased and happy at how my scar was healing! I could not give this product a higher star rating and review. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Easy to follow instructions. Very effective. Package said reusable. I did not feel comfortable reusing. Worked great for my surgical scar in my neck.

I had a cancer surgically removed from my arm tricep area right below the surface of the skin. The surgery was performed by a very reputable dermatological surgeon who did a great job with the incision. Because it is on the arm I wasn't too concerned with the appearance but I was more concerned with using a healing gel/lotion and having it come off on my shirt sleeves. I thought silicone tape may be better in this instance. I bought this item with skepticism regarding the reusability and healing effect on the scar. I was fortunate that the scar is only a smidge longer than 2 inches so I am able to cut the lengths in half. I have a couple of issues with the tape but otherwise am quite pleased. Positives: 1. Does adhere nicely to the skin 2. Discreet appearance 3. So far has considerably reduced the redness and numbness of the scar (getting more like the surrounding skin) 4. Can cut them in half to double to use Negatives: 1. The corners loose adhesion after about a week 2. Heavy sweat loosens the adhesion 3. Directions state to remove before showering... so I don't know why some reviewers are showering with no problems I go to the gym 5 days a week and sweat heavily after 30 minutes of cardio. Each day I have taken the tape off before I go, workout, shower then reapply the tape when I return home. However, one day I forgot to remove it and saw both ends of the tape as curling up. I was disappointed. To be honest I didn't want to take it off and store it in the locker and reapply after the shower. All in all, even though my experience has been that the adhesion and placement is good for up tp 7 days (the corners start to bend and adhere to the strip) which is half of the advertised time, because I am using half I am still getting 2 weeks from a complete strip. I plan to update this review after all of the strips have been used.
