Great soy sauce! I'm very pleased with this soy sauce. Better than other dark soy sauces I've used, great flavor, perfect amount of saltiness, good body. So glad I discovered this brand of soy sauce.

Great flavor and worked well for my Japanese noodle recipe

I love this dark soy sauce. I have ordered it quite a few times. It has a really robust flavor, I mainly use it to marinate beef for a few hours before stir frying. It is not at all watery and is great value for money, it comes in a two pack and is so much less expensive compared with buying a much smaller bottle in the grocery store. Would definitely recommend this dark soy sauce!

I ordered this dark soy sauce because I didn’t want to go to the Asian grocery store 15 mins drive away from where I’m staying right now for just one item. The two bottles were well packaged in bubble wrap and arrived in a day because I have Prime. Expiration date is in Jul 2022, plenty of time to use up these bottles. I got this soy sauce for a pork belly recipe that I found online which uses dark soy sauce for coloring. I saw the pot of water and spice mix early on being lighter in color and might have poured a tad too much dark soy. Came out a bit darker than I wanted after the water was reduced down to sauce. Tastes just fine though. Note: a lot of food videos advised to add more dark soy sauce when it’s almost done cooking if the color is too light. Follow the recipe and learn from my mistake of being overzealous at the beginning. I personally don’t taste much difference between regular soy sauce and dark soy sauce. It seems like the flavor of the dark soy sauce might be a bit more complex, but most recipes that uses dark soy sauce also use a lot of other spices, so it’s hard to tell at the end how much of a flavor difference it makes. From what I saw, dark soy sauce in recipes are primarily used for giving food a “candied” clear brown coloring. For that purpose, this soy sauces was perfect and I’m happy with the result.

A little bit on the salty side but unfortunately that’s an epidemic in America's food industry. Why on earth manufacturers put so much salt on everything nowadays? Otherwise the sauce is very rich and thick. Less one star because the bottle cap leaks and dispenses too much sauce. I recommend it.

A perfect dark soy sauce, rich in color, light on saltiness. Lee Kum Kee is a quality brand, and this sauce is naturally fermented, not hydrogenated. A quality, authentic Chinese soy sauce.

An excellent quality Dark Soy Sauce. My favourite to use in many Asian Meals that I prepare. Lee Kum Kee products are all excellent.
