I ordered the 3 inch size and they are perfect for the items I will display. I love the manufacturer thoughtfully packed the plate stands. They come packed in a small box and each side of the display stand has a plastic you peel off -- this prevents the stands from get scratched! So don't think that you got frosted display stands, they are clear on both sides once you peel off the protective plastic layer. Love them! And would definitely order again if I needed more.

The product is not balanced, it tilts to one side when a plate is placed on it, especially round plate. Tried all 15 pcs. Desi jugaad.

As for the size and construction, the stands are perfect for the display of smaller dessert or salad plates. The construction of the display stands is sturdy and the edges are smooth. I wouldn't use them on a dinner-sized plate (8 to 10 inches). We found they were fine for use on round plates and square dishes that were sized about 4 inches to 7 inches at their widest dimension. Used them to create a temporary decorative display for a party. They worked great for us.

Despite these being smaller than I expected, they are perfect for displaying a small book or painting. They were just what I needed at a much better price than my local art supplier.
