Throwback Vibes: The Perfect "Phone Alternative"
I’ve been looking for something slim and dedicated to capture photos outside of my phone, and the Kodak PIXPRO C1 is a total mood. It gives off major early-2000s digital camera vibes, perfect for that nostalgic aesthetic without having to hunt down a vintage eBay find that might not even work. The Standout Features -Retro Throwback: From the faux-leather texture to the satisfying tactile buttons, this feels like a nice nod to simpler times. It’s a great way to stay present and "unplug" while still catching memories. -Insanely Lightweight: At only 115g, it’s incredibly light. I barely notice it in my pocket or on my wrist, making it much more convenient to carry than a bulky DSLR or even a heavy Pro-model smartphone. -The Flip Screen: The 180° upward-tilting screen is surprisingly handy for framing candids or checking your angle before a quick shot. -Modern Convenience: It charges via USB-C, so I don't have to carry a proprietary charger or mess with AA batteries like the old-school versions. Performance & Use -Candid King: This isn't meant to compete with high-end phone sensors for "perfection." Instead, it excels at catching that raw, "digital-era" look that's so popular right now. -Ideal for Out-and-About: It powers up quickly, and the simple point-and-shoot interface means I can snap a photo and get back to the moment. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a professional vlogging rig, this isn't it. But if you want a stylish, budget-friendly retro camera to catch candids while you're out and about, this is a winner. It's a fun, distraction-free way to document life that looks way cooler than just another phone pic. Pros: Great 2000s aesthetic, ultra-lightweight, flip screen, USB-C charging. Cons: Image quality is "lo-fi" (but that’s kind of the point!), no optical zoom, SD card not included.

Good for what it is.
Don't expect a high-end camera for this price, but for a carrying-around, handy, lightweight camera, it does a good job. The photos are clear and bright and the color looks good. It even does a good job in low light situations. We've taken videos in daylight, room light, and dim light and they all turned out clear and good quality. It's tiny--like a deck of cards almost, and feather-light. For a simple, basic camera, I think this is a good choice. I love that the screen flips up so you can see the shot from the front like a vlogging camera. I use that feature a lot.

Cute Little Camera with a Fun Retro Feel!
I’m really enjoying this little camera! It’s compact, lightweight, and super easy to use, which makes it perfect for tossing in a purse or bag and taking with me wherever I go. The flip screen is one of my favorite features because it makes taking selfies and group pictures so much easier. The wide-angle lens also makes it easy to get everyone in the picture without having to stretch your arm out forever. I really like the retro early-2000s look that the photos have. It gives pictures a fun, nostalgic feel that’s different from the super-polished look you get from a phone. The camera is also simple enough that you can just point, shoot, and capture the moment without messing with a bunch of settings. The rechargeable battery and USB-C charging are convenient, and the small size makes it easy to take everywhere. Such a fun camera for everyday pictures, vacations, nights out, and creating cute nostalgic memories! 📸💕✨

Good little fixed lens camera
The PixPro C1 is a good buy. If your looking for the classic point and shoot than this is a good one. The 13MP sensor is great and sharp, and the auto focus system on here seems pretty excellent. It takes fun "nostalgic" images that you won't be disappointed with. I got this to take with me to get some fun random shots of my day, and keep my phone in my pocket. It does a good job at that, and I have been pleasantly surprised at the image quality. It probably won't be as nice as some of your phone photos, but it also doesn't have that over processed look to them either. You can plug the camera into your phone with a USB C style cable or you can pop the memory card into it or the reader, and its easy to copy them over or onto a computer. The pictures share nicely online and print out great with out without editing. Video mode lacks stabilization but you can pop it onto a tripod and use that to film or set it on a ledge or table and get good steady results. Gotta do it the old school way. The flash is LED on this one, so its a nice soft fill for taking indoor pictures of people close by, but it does not fill a room. It gives good disposable camera like pictures when used. Its a nice fun lightweight stick it in your pocket retro point and shoot and its at a great price. Its definitely better than the generic off brand I bought and returned, it handles focus more consistently, and it doesn't blast out the color and wash out the images. There isn't any color banding on the edges and the specs are actually as stated, not some overblown made up fictitious number like 4K 80MP super 8K deluxe HD like the others (they are nowhere close to that spec). Its point and shoot modes on here are easy to access. It takes really awesome outdoor daytime photos. It has some fun filters and effects and the vivid mode is my favorite. Photos share and print out great. Basically if you want a fun point and shoot for everyday photos this is a great one to get and its at a fantastic price point from a reputable brand. Its fun that Kodak is still making good affordable point and shoots that are not 5x the cost.

10/10 Camera
10/10 for sure picture quality is so clear, though I recommend taking pics mostly during day for clearer pics. Very beginner friendly, easy and to learn. Weights almost nothing. Pictures are taken fast. Focus is amazing. For sure worth your money.

DO NOT BUY
This is a terrible camera. Buy literally any other digital camera around the same price and you will get better results. I used this one night out with some friends and ended up scrapping all of the photos because they were so blurry and such horrible quality. The camera has been returned and replaced with a PIXPRO FZ45. There is no built-in image stabilization, so unless you are completely still, the pictures will be blurry. Even when I was sitting down with my arms resting on a table, they were still blurry. The lens is also not protected, so unless you keep it in a case at all times, it will get scratched when it's not in use. The zoom is also digital and not optical, which looks terrible. The screen is clunky, and the rotation is annoying. The buttons are cheap and unresponsive. Overall, the camera is a cheaply built, gimmicky piece of garbage, and I would recommend buying anything else. It's shocking that a company like Kodak would produce something like this
