Size is perfect for my massive dogue de Bordeaux who just had his eye removed.He has a 28” neck and I couldn’t find one anywhere else to fit him, other ones I ordered in xxl were all too small.So easy to keep clean, wipes down with hot soapy water and drys quick.So comfortable my boy sleeps like a log now after struggling with the plastic cone the vet provided, and no more cracking ,jarring ,plastic cone because of him ramming walls doors and furniture , they are all safe now , as well as my legs, as it absorbs the shock well.Very secure , just feed collar through the elastic and then fasten the strong Velcro, my big strong boy cannot remove his , and its not through lack of trying.All in all, a great buy!Pricey, but the quality in comparison to similar products is 2nd to none!Only thing I would suggest is that they include more strips to cover all the exposed Velcro , as when it is on the largest setting like his is , you only get one with it so the other ones end up hairy 😊.

This didn’t work, it had been folded in delivery & due to that it just wouldn’t retain the cone like shape & wasn’t fit for purpose. Unfortunately, perhaps it would have worked for someone with a small dog but I ordered two of these for our kittens after a spay and ended up having to stick with the uncomfortable plastic cones from the vets.

Got this for 8 month male show cocker after neuter , size round neck was good , but a bit too long neck to nose maybe should have just got med not med long , although I think there is too big diff in length between the two , 20cms & 30cm ! I needed 25cm .Anyway my cocker spaniel puppy much preferred it to plastic cone , hated noise plastic cone made when he hit things . This one is study , and comfortable compared to plastic vet one . He definitely couldn’t reach wound . Only downside was restricted visibility. I did fold it bk at times . Can get a bit warm especially with spaniel ears . Would recommend.

My rough collie had a toe amputated and after having the dressing on had sores on his paw so really important he didn’t lick the area. The comfy cone was so much easier to get on and off and perfect for him to feed in, it’s more flexible than a plastic cone so no damage to my walls. However I found he sweated a lot more in it and the cone started to smell so I washed it down but it took ages to dry and was still smelly. Also as a rough collie he has a smaller neck for a large dog and long snout so I had to go for the medium extra long but really needed a large extra long but they don’t do that size.

Best cone ever ever ever can't recommend enough. My big Newfie boy weighing in at 74.5kg had to have an operation on his back leg and this did the trick perfectly, it withstood his many attempts to force it off by ramming it against all my kitchen cupboard door knobs, which ended up coming off the doors. However the hood still survived and is still surviving up to 4 wks later. He now has dry skin by his tail after all the antibiotics etc which he keeps biting so the hood has had to go back on until this clears up.

Daisy was able to turn round and chew her tail region in her other soft collar. The original one had been fine for stopping her nibbling her back but was just too short. Thankfully this collar was small enough for her neck measurement but extended beyond her nose. Small, long. A bit more expensive but the only collar I could find with this dual fitting.

Arrived today but I'm going to have to send it back. We have a 10kg cocker spaniel puppy, with neck circumference 11 inches and neck to snout 8 inches, so I ordered Small-Long as according to the chart thats right. The inside measurement of the neck hole is actually about 10.5 inches at a stretch, so too tight. I'd order a medium if in stock but they're not so will have to go for a different cone.

Works well & affords the dog a greater level of comfort.
