Sturdy and comfortable grip. The handle is a soft touch grip but doesn't slide around when using. Blade is very sharp (obviously) and seems like good quality. The cap is a white, opaque plastic that slides in place securely. I am using it for paper projects. This is a great buy.

These are absolutely wonderful! The rubberized grip is comfortable on the fingers. The blade is nice and sharp. So far, the cap has stayed on well despite a previous review that said that it does not. This is a replacement for the X-Acto knife I previously had, which was not as easy to use and cost more. This has been a really good value for the money, sturdy and durable, and especially as a three pack. I really like the colors too! The hot pink, fresh green, and black are nice.

After years of using “standard” metal hobby knives switching to this Excel handle has been a complete game-changer. It is without a doubt the best hobby knife I have ever owned. It is among the more “expensive” knives but it’s worth it. The first thing you'll notice is the comfort. The soft, cushioned grip is a massive improvement, especially during long modeling sessions. It completely eliminates hand fatigue, and the shape prevents it from rolling off my desk which is a simple but brilliant feature. The blade-locking mechanism tightens from the back, not the front, which provides a more secure grip on the blade. I use standard #11 blades from various brands, and they all lock in rock-solid. The overall build quality is excellent. I have used it for 2+ years now and it still is like new. If you're still using one of those old-school metal handles do yourself a favor and upgrade. This knife is superior in comfort and control. It's a fantastic tool that's worth every penny.

This is the best craft knife ever. The blade is so fine and sharp and the handle is absolutely perfect making my grip safe and precise. I chose the pink so I can't lose it in my creative mess I make on the table. The storage tip is great since it is a must. the sharpness would definitely do a lot of damage. Very durable as well

USA-made option to replace the now-Chinese-made X-ACTO brand. I'm happy to see that we actually can still make things here. I hope to see a LOT more great domestic companies thriving here on Amazon from now on. The handle is very comfortable to hold like a pen and sculpted with a nice soft feel. Even if you have a bunch of X-ACTO blades, try an Excel grip. I did buy some Excel replacement blades, too. No regrets there, either.

It definitely is a nice blade and comfortable to hold. Was a little disappointed that the rubber arrived cracked when I took it out of the packaging. It doesn't affect the functionality of it, but it does make me wonder how long it's going to last if its already damaged.

I love this little craft knife! I use it for slicing the little security stickers that seal products from the store, so I don't rip the packaging. I open my mail with it, sometimes I even open packages with it (soft sided packages, not cardboard boxes, and always away from where the items are inside the package so I don't cut anything accidentally, cuz the blade is so sharp, but it works so well!!). I love the feel of the handle. The cover stays in place very well, I wish it fit on the back end so I don't lose it if I take it off, but I try to keep it close by all just replace it on the Blade as soon as I'm done with it. Of course I love the pink color, plus it makes it more visible too! Love it!
