The pale yellow yarn arrived with a tiny spot that was grey... I tried wiping with a disinfecting wipe but the stain wouldn't come off. Luckily, it was towards the end of the skein so I'll probably just cut it off. Other than that, it's good.

The yarn is soft and exactly what I wanted

Even tho it came a day late it was exactly as described & it smells so good, like fresh clean laundry or something AANNDD the best part was the center pc of yarn was already pulled out about 2" which was PERFECT & appreciated. Not sure if that part was intentional but if it was thank u seller!! :) recommend!! Im crocheting a Mimikyu.

I use RH SS yarn a lot because it's relatively cheap and it's durable. And it's made in the USA. There are some strange things I've noticed about it, though. Like how is it there is no texture consistency between the different colors of SS yarn? Variegated and ombre are usually much thinner in smaller-weighted skeins. I can understand smaller weights but the thickness of the yarn should match for better consistency in a project that uses several colors. White yarn is all together soft as cotton but the black is usually harsh and scratchy. The other colors are everywhere in between. I noticed someone had a complaint about knots in the yarn. This is something that bugs me too, at least to some extent. It used to be a full skein of yarn was one endless strand and skeins with knots were sold as seconds. I suggest to anyone else who has trouble with this look up a couple of different yarn knots. One is the "magic knot" which is the knot used to connect the yarn in the skein. It's nearly seamless when trimmed correctly and only the slippery yarn can escape it. The other is the "Russian join". If the "magic knot" isn't invisible enough the Russian join will be, but it's trickier to make. I highly advise against using one called Weaver's Knot as in my testing it very easily worked its way loose if the ends were clipped. Considering I have a good half-dozen totes full of yarn waiting to get worked up into projects that will need another skein here and there I doubt I'll quit buying this yarn but it would be nice if there weren't so many inconsistencies.
