I rarely write reviews, but the Orange Screw Ultimate Ground Anchors absolutely exceeded expectations. These things are engineered incredibly well and perform exactly as advertised. I purchased them for securing outdoor equipment and gear, and the holding power is seriously impressive — even in challenging soil conditions. What stands out immediately is the build quality. They feel rugged, durable, and purpose-built, not like the cheap stamped anchors you find at big box stores. Installation was fast and straightforward, and once they’re in the ground, they stay put. The bright orange color is also a smart design touch because they’re easy to locate and remove when needed. I also appreciate that this is a veteran-owned company focused on making a premium American-made product. You can tell a lot of thought went into the engineering and usability. If you need reliable anchors for canopies, tents, tarps, landscaping, outdoor décor, dog tie-outs, camping, or emergency preparedness, these are worth every penny. One of those products you buy once and immediately realize why people swear by them. Highly recommended.

Good quality. I mainly bought these to use at the beach. Unless you dig really deep down, they are pretty much useless, you can just pull them up with your hands. But these are probably good for soil.

I ordered these to prepare for camping at the Stagecoach festival since they do not allow metal spikes and I am so glad I did. I had my canopy set up with a lot of work put into making my site homey and comfortable so I was extremely please when these anchors did their job. The second night of the event there was a wind storm that lasted a few hours, the festival evacuated people for the duration of the storm. Coming back up camp I can’t tell you how many peoples tents and canopies were uprooted and destroyed, but not mine. Mine stayed anchored and true. The tethers I used were darker in shade so having the bright orange stand out was helpful to avoid tripping on it. They are very light weight which is nice and some may say the size may be a bit larger then they desire but I personally didn’t mind. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture but I wonder if I can add one later. Just imagine I suppose a slightly longer bratwurst sausage? Haha. Okay so my only complaints which aren’t major, so far I haven’t had any issue with them breaking but as you may consider some surfaces being grass, sand, etc may be harder or softer do you really need to consider the resistance when installing this tool as it is being threaded in. It comes with a plastic tube that fits through the eye hole of the anchor to use as a T-bar wrench if you will, and it does work however depending on the required torque you’re inputting, I do not put a lot of faith in solely relying on it before breaking it. During torque the anchor flexes a bit as it gets deeper into the ground but I haven’t felt it flex to a point of nearing breakage just yet. But yeah, that plastic tube, either have something else ready on hand (literally a 6” chopped wooden broomstick or something to that effect would work”), or just take it easy. One little note, even bring plastic, the tips are sharp so be mindful of the pointy end. Overall, I am very please and happy with the set, these anchors did their job and are absolutely worth the price point. I’ve used them as well at the beach, actual camping off the grid, and public parks. I mainly use them to stake from the wind or potential wind but I have used them once or twice to tether one of the doggos so there are certainly various uses you can find for them.

I screwed this into the ground, which is made of clay here in Ohio. The clear plastic tube made it easy to rotate the screw in. I then tried to pull it out and there was no way it could be pulled out. I'd feel quite secure using these to tie down our 10' by 10' popup shelter with no worry about it blowing away should a strong thunderstorm roll through. Now if you had loose, sandy, or loamy soil, I think there is a possibility it could be ripped out but I couldn't test it in those soils because here we have only clay. (Maybe you could use more or longer screws in those soils.) I liked the fact that the "top" had several ways that you could attach it to the rope. It had open "hooks" which could be very convenient in situations where the rope lines would not move very much because you could just slide a loop of rope on and off them very quickly. And they also had closed "loops" for a windier situation where you wanted to make absolutely 100% sure the rope did not disconnect from the screw. Just feed the rope through the loop and use a taut-line hitch (look it up) to make a secure yet adjustable tie-down rope. Unfortunately it did not come with a storage bag so I just put the screws into a gallon size slider Ziplock bag and shoved it into the storage bag of our popup. I think the price is a bit high but the quality is there. I would definitely recommend this product.
