Disappointing
Sadly can hardly taste the lemon or ginger. Ginger and lemon both smell great but this tea just smells and tastes wrong. Is that the liquorice? I’m so disappointed as I really wanted to try using loose leaf tea as I get through so many lemon and ginger tea bags. Will most certainly not buy this again.

Absolutely delicious
Love it! The smell was the first thing that I noticed. On taking my first sip I tasted all of the different flavours. Love the lemon taste and I was left with the warmth of the ginger. This is seriously good tea and I will definitely be back for more.

Not great - I can taste more liquorice that ginger
First off I would like to say that making it fresh is always best. But in this case, Twinnings actually won against TeaPigs. I thought I would mix it up and get this to try it. I ended up putting fresh ginger in because I couldn't taste the ginger, the liquorice overpowered it massively. I'll give it a short answer - If you like strong ginger and lemon tea and you don't have fresh on hand use anything but this. If you like liquorice buy this. :) Only great positive is the resealable bag.

Not very fiery - more for those who like a mild ginger/lemon flavour
I don't find this a particularly flavoursome drink. It's very mellow, even when upping the recommended dosage. I do love a fiery ginger drink - when I'm in the mood for a ginger drink I really want to taste it, and this doesn't deliver for me I'm afraid, and won't order again. On a positive though, it does live up to the expectation of proper chunky pieces and not the dust you usually find in other brands of loose tea.

lovely!
recently found out out that most teabags contain plastic so have decided to try loose tea - this one is delicious! it says to brew for 3-5 minutes but i do around 7 minutes to get it nice and strong :)

It's a a big NO from me...
Everyone's tastes are different and I found this tea to be just...OK. It tasted a bit bland and neither the lemon or the ginger tasted 'fresh'. It's also expensive so I definitely won't be buying it again.
