My box is missing the piece count. Counterfeit, or made for Europe? (I’m thinking it’s the latter)

yes correct ! LEGO from the European and Asian / Pacific Area do not have the Piece count outside on the box. Many people like them more due more from the Graphics is viewable ! But it is 100 % legit lego. also lego sometimes uses tape seal and sometimes push in seals to seal the boxes both types are Legit Lego and both are used worldwide. soon lego will also move away from the plastic bags inside to paper bags inside the lego boxes so sound and feel will change too. this all to be more environmental friendly

Legos are awesome!

My niece loved it. None of the generic knock offs come close to mimicking Legos build quality, the way the bricks snap together, hold, and come back apart. Legos are one of the best toys you can invest in. My grandchildren will someday have the Legos I years ago purchased for my now adult son.
