It's pretty hard to play the banjo part on one of these, since that's written for a 5-string. But it's possible, especially if you're used to picking acoustic lead guitar. Ordinarily you'd play the guitar part on this one. Hope this helps. :-) Paul Race, Creek Don't Rise

Q: How long is the banjo from head top to body bottom? Will it fit in most standard banjo cases?

Other reviews stated that a standard case was too small for it so I followed another reviewers suggestion here and bought a case from Amazon. The Carrion C-2901 Fretted Resonator Banjo Case. It fits perfectly in it.

Q: Where does the strap connect?

I had a friend that does leather work make me a "cradle" strap for my banjos. The strap is run under the head clamps all the way around the body of the banjo giving much better support than just using two connection points. I have an Irish Tenor banjo that is heavy, this Jameson 6 string is not nearly as heavy, so a banjo strap with two clips may be fine.
