Features of this Bible: 16-point font Words of Christ in Red Legible, sans-serif text Short introductions to each book of the Bible The English Standard Version follows an essentially literal translation approach, seeking to convey the wording, structure, and force of the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Scriptures with clarity and dignity. Its careful attention to recurring biblical language supports close study, public reading, memorization, and devotion. Review: Too heavy and print is way too big. - The Bible itself is fine but way too heavy, and the print is humongous! If you have very poor eye sight it would be ok. Review: Look past the weight to reading comfort - Lovely New Testament package however this book is heavy!! I knew the print was large but did not think the weight would be as bad as it is. Certainly easy reading. My goal was to buy the New Testament only, so I did not have to deal with weight of my large print Bible. Would work for someone who can just keep this version on a table and not move it. Update: found a place for this Bible on a table w/chair. Pages stay open on their own. I am now happy I have the very large print as it is so easy on my eyes that I find myself reading the Bible more (that is good thing), and my Bible study group is concentrating on the New Testament. Paper pages are thick enough, so you can underline words. While the initial weight bothered me, I am now more interested in usage.

IT IS A GIANT SIZE BIBLE
i would have given it 5 stars except it is a large bible.. it is a well made bible. my only dislike is that it it a GIANT bible. it is a heavy book. wish this particular bible was offered in a slightly small size [5" x 7"].. if it was offered in a smaller size i would purchase it, as it would be easier to hold while sitting my chair..

Just what I was looking for!
This is the best large print New Testament I ever bought. They did a great job in creating it and it certainly is a blessing to those of us with limited vision. I thank the people who put it together and thank Amazon for making it available!

Too big.
Regret that I purchased a paperback book that is sooooo big that it is hard to handle and keep nice.

Superb! Superb! Superb!
Verified Purchase I have copied and pasted below another clients comment because I cannot improve onit. Thank you Concordia publishing. Finally a truly readable giant print Bible with large type in a single column format, opaque paper (no bleed through), and text that doesn't run into the gutter. I've tried other "large print" Bibles and been very frustrated, but this one is a gem. Now my little extra bit: it is very large and so obviously quite heavy. The dimensions are given. But that is unavoidable if you want a bible with giant print like this

Great
This is a great bible. It is very big I have to say, but not too cumbersome. The 16 point font is great for those who can't read small print with ease anymore. I love the way the esv is laid out, with section headings in a paragraph format. Great bible I certainly recommend it. Also a great table - top family bible to be used by all family members.

Big print and big size
I bought this for a friend who had vision and holding problems and he is extremely happy with it. It's big and so is the print.
